Q: KMI pays a less than spectacular dividend which increased this year by a very modest amount. The share price has been flat for almost a year. Their recent acquisition may be accretive but this has not yet been reflected in the price. What, if anything, do you see as a catalyst for price growth?
Do you have better alternatives in this space?
Thanks for your great service.

Q: Hi Folks,
I sold some CSU recently. I now have MSFT, NVDA, AAPLE and some CSU as holdings in the Tech Sector( GOOG and AMZN as well). Can you suggest a couple of Tech stocks that I could add to my holdings in the Tech Sector. This would be in my TFSA.
Thanks

Q: I hold RBA in my TFSA and have done well. TIH is performing better over the past 6 months. Over 5 and 10 years performance of the stocks is even. I notice you like TIH and would you switch from RBA to TIH for a 3 year hold. I am looking for steady /conservative growth and not concerned about a dividend. Thank you

Q: Recent thoughts on this company. I was thought it would be a nice asset light business, that would have great long-term potential. I get that travel to the USA might be down, but alternatively the pricing of hotels recently has been outrageous! How do you feel about management? Can they turn this around?

Q: Hello, I want to sell ISRG for tax-loss reasons and buy it back after 30 days (I am about 20% down). I just saw that their next earnings call is Oct. 21st. Do you know enough about their progress this year to figure out if there is a good chance their 3rd Q is going to be great and therefore I should wait after Oct. 21st, or should I move to sell now? Thanks!

Q: This is a follow up to Michael's question. He asked that you correct him if he was wrong about the Canadian government needing to buy more gold. My understanding is that this is indeed wrong in two ways. The government holds no gold and has no plans to buy any. Is this correct? Thank-you.

Q: An analyst made the point that he thinks any foreign bond exposure should be hedged to the Canadian dollar. His point was that fixed income is usually meant to de-risk one’s portfolio and that by taking on foreign exchange risk in this particular asset you are working against yourself. Assuming one doesn’t require the foreign income generated what do you think of his argument?

Appreciate your insight.

Q: I am thinking of selling ZUH for KSI/VHI. ZUH maybe safer, though I am looking for more growth. Would you recommend a combination of VHI/KSI or just 1? Other recommendations?

Thanks for your service!

Q: Hi Peter, I thought I finally had a winner with CSU. I have 7 shares and it was nice when they were close to 5000.00, thinking they might go higher. It's always hard to sell the winners. Even though I still have a bit of a gain is it time to forget about this high price for CSU. I know you can't predict the future but how low could this go, it's not going to be another Nortel, or drop down to 500 or 700 is it? Would it be a good time to add or sell. Can you give us some encouragement or some guidance with this. Much appreciated.

Q: I currently own First Majestic Silver (AG) but would like a few more Canadian names to take advantage of the silver commodity price. Please suggest a few names that you think would be appropriate. Thanks four your continued great service.

Q: Hello Peter
with the lower interest rate and the debt accumulated by US and Cdn govt
(correct me if I am not right, the Cdn central bank needs to buy more gold)
it accounts for the rising prices of gold and the gold stocks including ETF like XGD
what would be a economic scenario that could cause the gold stocks or gold in general to pull back by 15 to 25 % either sharply or over a 3-6 months period, your
wisdom is appreciated
alot of us has some gold stocks that has done well
thanks
Michael

Q: I saw a video clip of the Parliamentary Budget officer giving a dire review of the financial health of the country. Pretty much saying it is unsustainable unless something is done quickly. Are you recommending any significant changes to individual investors portfolios based on these findings? What would happen to stocks if Canada defaulted on its debt?

Q: Hi 5i, here goes another CSU family Q.

Yesterday you mentioned a 10% drop would not surprise you. Well it's here. Based on your ability to use Bloomberg and other valuation tools, where do see the next floors down in the elevator so to speak. And based on these two events in the past week, how long will the family be in the dog house? Also I'm asking this on the assumption you are still fans. Thx.
