Private equity companies took a hit this month on concerns that AI was going to hurt software companies and thus potentially impair loans to software companies. But BN is not as exposed as others, and the stock is flat on the year and up 10.5% over 52 weeks (the S&P is down for the year so it is not so bad). Earnings were good. The outlook is solid. The dividend was raised last week. We would be very comfortable buying BN today.
