Q: I would appreciate your thoughts on the above minimum rate reset preferred share. Please confirm the dividend receives the dividend tax credit , the new dividend rate and the security of the dividend. Also do you have any thoughts about why it appears to be trading at a discount to its peers especially when it has just reset at a higher rate. Do you have any concerns about these shares? Thanks Brian

Q: With all the continued unrest and conflict is there any compelling investment case for military or armament stocks?
Thank you

Q: BNS has been a big disappointment for many years. With every year that passes, I say to myself to be patient and give it more time. The new CEO needs time, the acquisitions need time, the valuation is attractive, reversion to the mean is a powerful force, 5i really likes it etc etc. Yet each year, there is no improvement.
I just looked at TD's EPS Consensus Expectations for 2024, and they are less than 2023! Earnings for 2023 were poor, and considerable lower than 2022 and 2021.
Please tell me why I should continue holding on.
Thanks

Q: Hello and Happy New Year,
Can you please provide a simple ETF portfolio for the average middle-class Canadian, with no private pension, and who has some time to watch the markets but not a lot, and who just wants to commit to a dollar-cost averaging investing plan for the next 20 years?
Thanks,
Robert

Q: Hi,
Happy New Year. Any opinion on when shareholders should expect an update from Persistence Capital Partner on the latest offer? Is there a guideline that companies are required to follow, provide update etc . I believe the old offer was to close in January and the SP continues to drift on no news.
Thanks,
Kerri

Looking for advice to invest our RESP contribution this year for my daughter. Time horizon is 17 years. Do you prefer any of these for good growth, or are their any others you would prefer (companies traded in Canada would be ideal)?
Thank you, and Happy New Year.

Q: Please analyze this one. I'm in the lucky position, having it long enough, that I'm still decently positive but questioning it's future. Worth holding for awhile or moving on? Thank you.
Q: What are your thoughts on Tutor Perini (TPC)? Does it have potential as a play on the US infrastructure theme? Are there other small caps you’d prefer in the same space? Thanks.
