Q: Hi Peter and team,
Firstly I would like to congratulate Peter on his very informative and touching article about his father-in -law Ron in this last Saturday Ottawa citizen...my father had similar experiences ,lived through the Depression and would have been 100 years old this coming October.The young would be "investors" would be wise to learn from such articles.
What would be a reliable BUY signal for gold after this week's debacle?

Q: Is it true that as of June, 2022 back end loading will be prohibited? If yes ,is this only for new customers from that date forward or will customers already invested under these rules be permitted to shift their assets to other companies without penalty? Is Ontario to be exempt from the prohibition? Appreciate your incite

Q: Peter and crew; I am underwater on MP materials and not afraid to take a loss and move on but don’t wish to leave a company that has reasonable recovery potential. I would appreciate your thoughts and if moving on is the way to go, do you have one or two suggestions for a medium risk portfolio?

Q: I don't see a recent answer for HUT8.
I know little about this company, yet a technical flag (Diamond Bottom, with $8.80 target in 60 days), caught my eye.
The Morningstar Quant report of July 30 shows a rating of Three Stars, with a PE of 10.2, and Fair Value of $7.42.
Sounds interesting.... if only I had a clue on how they make $$ and if the above factors are even relevant to a stock in this sector.

Q: Hi Guys
I have initiated a short position for my portfolio. I know timing the Market is impossible, but at todays lofty valuations i just felt it was warranted.
I have started very small, 1.5% of my Portfolio. My aim is to continue to slowly add to the position over time, maybe every 3 months or so. My thinking is the longer I'm wrong, say over 3 months I'm down 10 % i can lower my average cost base going forward, by adding another 1.5% to the position. Can i have your opinion please, and at what percent would you top out at on this hedge.
