Q: I am looking to buy cenovus for my portfolio. Is this a good time to buy a oil stock considering where the price of oil is going, the uncertainty of pipeline transportation, oil sector out of favor . If I am adding only one oil stock is cenovus the best one to add with the potential for significant upside.

Q: 2 questions for a margin account with 10+ year time horizon:
(1) What 10 great Canadian income stocks would be the core of your margin account?
(2) What 6 core great Canadian balanced stocks would you hold (must have a dividend no matter how small)?
Please rank from with best first; selection ignores sector and cap size.
Thanks!!

Q: Hi Peter and team,
Can I ask you a question about Disney? The former CEO Bob Iger has been selling 50% of his shares recently and the company has $56B of financial debt. Do you have any concerns here and what is your outlook for the stock? Hold or switch (any suggestions?)?
Thanks for your great service!

IS 700 unrealistic within the year?
( If this year has taught me anything, uncertainty is the only constant especially with the inflation story having held the market hostage the last few months)

Q: Hello, I hold 450 shares of BAM.A in my non registered account. If I understand correctly, on June 28th I will receive 3 shares of the new Brookfield Reinsurance company plus some cash for the fractional share. For tax purposes, will this be entirely considered as dividend (the 3 shares + cash amount)? Thank you
Q: I only own 50 shares of BAM. Will I get any economic benefit from the BAMR spin off?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Good Morning,
I am still holding the old NML from years ago when they were involved with the iron ore deposit and Tata Steel in Eastern Canada. I went through the RTO and consolidation and now hold Abaxx Technologies (ABXX). Any thoughts on this company? I see that it's a financial services software company. Is this worth holding?
Thank-you

Q: I have Kinaxis in the growth section of my portfolio and have had for years. It's done well, but has receded and stagnated, so I am considering replacing it with one of the above which have been on my watch list for a while. I also hold PHO and DND which will eventually have to be replaced. I'm not concerned about sector, except, no tech because I'm overweight, but am looking to replace with a decent quality Canadian stock with good capital appreciation expected over the next few years as the economy recovers. Please order all five, including KXS as buy and hold growth stocks. Thanks!
