Q: Good morning, I am looking for an alternative to big American tech. Hopefully in Europe or perhaps Asia. When large Canadian pension plans are moving away from US investments, I think this is worth exploring. Would appreciate your thoughts.

Q: I've done quite nicely on NVO over the last while and have sold off about a third of my original position at prices close to double the current level. With a few US dollars in my account I am wondering if I should buy back some NVO or look at a part position in ISRG (or another healthcare suggestion from 5i) for diversification.

Thanks for all your advice! Though I ask few questions, I learn "bigly" from those of other subscribers.

Q: Recognizing that you don't necessarily follow NVO, do you still consider this a better long term investment compared to PFE with it's attractive dividend? I know that the company's recent trials have not been great, but do they have a better pipeline than PFE?

NVO's revenue and free cash flow seemed to have consistently grown looking in the past, and it appears to be at an historically attractive valuation. But now maybe the most important question going forward is has NVO lost it's "moat" ?

Q: I am working on increasing my sector representation in Healthcare. I will shortly have filled a full position in ISRG, adding in this downturn. I have traded around UNH, and am planning to take it from a 1/2 to full position. I have 1/4 position in ILMN and do not think I should be topping it up; I perceive it to be risky. I need 2 more companies, or may need to take one or both of IRSG/UNH to more than a full position.

This provides me a surgical/instrumentation company and a service/product supplier. For diversity in the Healthcare space can you rank your preferred buys (with entry points) I'd appreciate 2 recommendations on the pharmaseuticals side and 2 on the biotech side, or as you may see that fits better.

While I am open US companies I do have a concern that the Trump administration will bring the DOGE and Executive Order train wrecks to health care. I would appreciate your views on this potential action and howe it may impact investment choice in the field.

How is its balance sheet and drug pipeline compared to Pfizer?

Pfizer is clearly more of an income play but that aside, do you favour one or the other for any particular reason?

Q: I would like to increase my investments in foreign, but non-USA situs, companies, by buying ADRs (as my estate would be subject to US estate taxes). Currently, I have smallish positions in NVO (NovoNordisk; Danish) and ALC (Alcon; Swiss), which I am planning to add to. However, I would like to invest in up to three additional ADRs. My approach to investing (over the past 3 decades) is very long term buy & hold (indefinite holds, to bequeath to future generations), so I am aiming for high-quality companies. Can you perhaps provide your thoughts on NVO and ALC, as well as suggest up to 5 additional ADRs for consideration? (I'm not a fan of tobacco or gaming stocks, but generally open to wide spectrum of ideas.)

Q: I am underwater significantly (-20 %to 30%) on the above 5 companies. I have a well balanced portfolio so am looking to either sell the above and replace them or add to them. Can you please give me your thoughts on which ones you would ditch and which ones (if any) you would add to. Q: Hi 5i, can you give me the names of 4 or 5 large cap pharmaceutical companies that are buyable now. Also I'm looking for 4 or 5 Biotech companies with one drug in the market making money and maybe something in the pipeline that looks like it has a good future? for example TGTX.

Q: I've owned IQLT for a few years now. I've noticed that the VEA top holdings are quite similar to IQLT, but at a significantly reduced MER. Is it really worth paying that much more to continue to hold IQLT? Maybe you have better insight on the differences between the two than I do (?)

I believe Novo Nordisk is Danish. If I was to buy Novo Nordisk on the US exchange (NONOF:OTC PINKl what kind of withholding tax should I expect on the dividend. And should I hold it in the RRSP to avoid this tax?

NVO sp is currently down 21 % on negative news of clinical trials on new weight loss drug...Expected weight loss from clinical trial was 25% and drug delivered only 22.7%...
How do you view the market reaction and where do you think sp goes from here...would 5i Take any action on this news?

How would 5i expect these results to affect HIMS going forward and would 5i be interested in starting small position in HIMS...if so, at what price would you consider reasonable.
