Earlier today you offered Amazon and Meta as possible proxies forAlphabet. I thought i saw some ambivalence regarding Meta in recent questions. At least much more ambivalent than you have ever been towards Alphabet. I know that you must feel that your readers sometimes have a tendency to parse every answer you give. Sometimes right down to each syllable! But, that’s because we respect your knowledge and want to be really clear :).

Which three of the above fourteen oil & gas stocks would you sell first to bring my sector allocation back to my normal weight? This is assuming 100 WTI oil in 2023. Could you also provide a brief reason for each of the three stocks that you would get rid of first. Thanks.

Q: the company has come down a lot , sure that being a small company and in Europe are negatives , but since it is somehow protected by CAR.UN , what is your opinion ?, will CAR.UN let them down if things get too harsh ?, is it a good price to get in ?, or better wait until all the bad news settle in H1 2023.

Q: I believe it is rare to see a “double downgrade” on a stock, as BoA recently did for TWLO. I like the business and see the need overall for Twilio’s communication platform growing exceedingly valuable. So with this massive post earnings drop, is this an opportunity to pick up additional shares to hold long term, or conversely a need to sell?

Q: What a remarkable market. GOOG has been my largest holding. I have a significant loss and am looking to take a tax loss. First, with a FOMO fear that it might bounce, I am thinking of selling 1/2 my position; if you were me, would you simply sell 100%? Second, would Apple be a suitable substitute? Q: Hi, can you explain what is going on at CPRT. It appears they did a 2 for 1 split this morning but there was no warning of this to my knowledge and we were not asked to vote on it. Also why does it show that the share count went up by 4X while the share price was cut in half (as you would expect in a 2 for 1 split). The 4X shares makes no sense to me. Why would they do a surprise split now?

Q: I'm interested in taking a position in BX. I prefer do it in my TFSA, or I could do it in my Margin if necessary - what do you suggest? Also back in Sept. you recommended it at $78-79 entry point. Would you still recommend it at that price or do you feel I should wait for a lower entry point? Do you still like this company for a long term hold? Thank you.
