Q: Why is this stock so cheap? Economic pessimism? STLC just bought back ~7.5% of the shares outstanding and still have ~700M net cash. Would like to hear your thoughts on the company and whether this is a good buy for a long term investor here at $33 (despite it being a generally cyclical industry). Thanks.

Q: I was reading that the breakeven point for oil in Canada is much higher than in many other countries. While the price they can get per barrel is much lower. Should we not invest in American O&G companies instead then?

Q: I have a ladder of rate reset preferred shares that pay a nice yield. My anticipated yield when they reset is looking very attractive. They seemed to be in favour in 2021. Despite rising rates in 2022, they have had a very poor year this year (across the board, not just my holdings). Why is that ?

Q: I understand that ~30% of ZWU dividend is ROC. Would you say this is the case across the board for all covered call ETFs? Am looking at XYLD with this spectacular dividend, and am tempted.

What makes Topicus different from any other software company - i.e. what makes it more attractive relative to others?

Since it's operations are European, does it currently trade at comparable European valuations?

The economic outlook for Europe appears to be worse than North America. Is this not a concern over the short to medium term?
