Q: Hello,
I'm thinking of adding HHL.b but concerned with the very low trading volume. If you compare volume of HHL to HHL.b, there is marked difference or improvement with HHL and higher volume. Question - is there actual market trading of HHL.b or perhaps might this be an internal currency conversion within Harvest ETF's. Hope this is clear, any feedback or explanation on why there is such a delta between the two ETF's trading volume would be appreciated.

Q: Hello,

There hasn't been a question on this company since 2021 - can I get your updated opinion of it? They just reported earnings this week and beat EPS estimates.

For a portfolio light on industrials, would you recommend it? If not, can you list a few industrials that you consider better - US or CDN.

Q: I am wondering what your thoughts are on the new IPO Oddity technology. This AI company that is direct to consumer make up and skin care products is trying to disrupt beauty. I am wondering what your thoughts are on Oddity and if you still like ULTA and/or Estee Lauder. Do you feel a company like Oddity can have a significant impact on sales and what is your rating (sell, buy, hold) for EL, ULTA and ODD? Thank you!

Q: I am working with my son (age under 50) to help him put together a stock portfolio. Considering that the US and Canadian markets have significantly different sector weightings what would you recommend for reasonable diversification in a growth weighted portfolio? I thought you had dealt with this type of question a number of times before but haven't found previous responses.

Q: What are your thoughts on this fund?
Long term performance and yield are both very strong, in excess of 9%. No covered calls but does have some leverage. Not sure how they achieve 9%+ yield without covered calls but the yield seems consistent and large portion of distribution is capital gains, eligible dividends and ROC.
Never invested in a closed end fund before. What is the difference between this and an ETF?

I bought 100 shares of Nvidia about 18 months ago and I am up 95%. I strongly believe in the capabilities of this company and the part it will play in technology over the next 5-10 years. However the noise around valuation is getting pretty loud. Do you suggest selling 50% (getting my original investment out) of the shares and play with the house money? I have a 5-10 year horizon

Q: I read in the Vancouver Sun that the municipalities in the US have a lot of control over the rate at which energy utilities convert to climate friendly energy sources. A UBC climate change expert weighed in to nudge the Vancouver municipal council who are meeting this week on the subject to stick to their acceleration plan for Fortis (+ maybe others) to adhere to it. Do you have any facts or insight on investor sentiment over the short to medium term?

Q: Npk is going to sell carbon credits on its 300000 tons of production at $500 US per ton. The first sale is to go through by the end of 3rd qtr. The markets seem to like this & the stock is up this AM. Do you think this has potential for the shares? Comments please.
In Npk's last conference call was there any mention of them fixing the flooding of the road to their mine that was preventing them from delivering product?
