Q: Hello 5i team, I am a patient investor, but exclusively if, 5i and I, we both have a strong conviction that a company situation will be much improved in say, 24 months from now. Because of the 2021 trading range and risks involved, I am trying to get the best possible entry point (suggestion?). I know it is short term trading, but I am trying to understand if EGLX is bottoming after going down -60% since mid-April 2021. Volumes are sky high versus history since quarterly publication. There has been only one trade of above 40k shares since quarterly publication. What are moving averages, RSI and MACD telling you? What is your understanding of the seesaw trading of the past 4 days? What would you suggest as a good entry price (I do not mind that much if my order is not executed, as I know there will be other opportunities somewhere at some point in the future). From analysts forecast, EGLX will not make a quarterly profit in 2022: will EGLX be EBITDA positive in any of 2022 quarters? Do you know when EGLX is expected to generate a quarterly profit? From daily reading of 5i Q&A, I know you like EGLX and NVEI (which I group in the same sub-sector): how much more do you like one over the other for long term return? Thank you for your collaboration, Eric

Q: Hi 5i,
GDI may be in falling knife mode right now but, looking ahead to when it finds support, do you think it will be an attractive add point, on a longer term view? Or would you say that recent results were related to issues in the business performance that are likely to persist and continue to be a drag going forward? Thanks!

Q: This is a follow up to a previous question about USD ETFs where you suggested IWO for the long term small cap portion of a USD TFSA or USD RRSP. I'm curious why you suggest IWO in particular, as it seems to be a recurring suggestion. I'm partiuclarly interested in a comparison of IWO to IWM, VTWO, VBK and SLYG, how you would distinguish them, and in what situations these others might be preferred over IWO. These others all seem to have lower fees and slightly different composition features. Please take as many question credits as needed - thanks as always for helpful answers.

Q: Is there a need to readjust these significant losers in a RRIF ?
My Tech is over 20% now (even with LSPD loss). If I were to "trim" the tech down would you keep LSPD and sell KXS and reinvest is something less volatile in a otherwise balanced RRIF ? maybe BCE, CNR, GSY, or FTS ?
Thanks as always, Peter

Q: Hello 5I
Roku has taken a real downturn to-day. I know one brokerage has downgraded it, but is there anymore bad news to have this lose 10%. Its been going down since August, almost at its 52 week low. It this justified???
Thank you
Steve

Q: Can you please comment on StoneCo results. Absolutely horrific stock price movement. What has me perplexed is how the big money has invested in this(ie- Berkshire etc..), are they expecting long term upside? If you owned $50 average would you cut bait and move on or ride out long term?
Q: ITRI is trying my patience. Would you recommend a switch to NVEE? Ideally, would holding both also make sense? Thanks.
Q: can I have your analysis on earnings - sell off a buying opp?
Q: Would it be correct to say GSY has marked to mkt. profit on AFRM up to Sep. 30? If so, then would they still have about $37. CDN on the balance of 368,000 if AFRM closed the year about $150.US for a total about $13,500,000. CDN?
Thanks

Q: Hi, I saw an article about Brookefield almost defaulting on one of their properties in Chicago..I dont see why they would let that happen? They are flushed with funds and have a very good credit rating. Do you know anymore about this story? Thanks.

Q: Hi Peter and Team
Looking for guidance on US holdings in a non registered account. My feeling from following your questions is that the US market would likely do well next year or 2 and that I should not invest 100% in Canada. Can you list 5 US securities that you see as good growth for next 2-3 years holding ?
Thanks for excellent guidance

Q: I am wondering if the recent $65M debenture deal is significant.
Is well looking at another significant acquisition or is it simply to meet the request of a major investor ?
Thank You

Q: Hello team,
I have to crystalize some losses to offset gains. I have a substantial position in ABCL (-56%) and BHC (-78%) and can sell either completely and be done with offsetting the gains. Do you suggest I do that or should I get rid of SDGR (-23%), BMBL (-38%) and PENN (-23%) as well ,if ABCL is worth holding onto, at least partially?
I know other than BHC, they all do have a good bounce potential after the tax-loss season is over. However, I also know that something like BMBL or even ABCL may be broken stories and may take a very long time to recover.
I appreciate it if you can share in which order you would sell and why (if you could kindly include the main reason for each).
Best!

Q: My question is about convertible debenture. What are they? What is the difference between a good one or a bad one? For instance, exchange income corp. Just put one out at 5.25%
