Q: I have a 1/2 position in ADN looking for dividends and a little growth. I have some cash to add to ADN or go to the west coast and start a position in WEF. WEF is down to its 52 week low I presume because of the strike. Time frame 3 to 5 years and moderate risk.

Q: Given that the sector is out of favour at the moment, I wonder if you could give me the names of the 3 or 4 Canadian forest products companies that you like best overall considering balance sheet, income stability and dividend. I'm prepared to wait a while for a recovery but there seem to be some decently priced companies in the sector at the moment. Finally, do you think that it's advisable to invest in this sector at the present time if one has the patience to wait for recovery? Many thanks. Don

....I can't tell whether that is meant to be an ANNUAL or ONE TIME dividend?

Q: Your report on this company highlighted U.S. softwood lumber duties as a major risk. But I believe that the Dept of Commerce exempted lumber from this company's territory. Does this change the rating for ADN ?

Does the increase in U.S. employment mean that there will be more demand for lumber for housing and therefore more business for ADN ?

Q: Good Morning: Regarding NAFTA and softwood lumber, having placed tariffs on Cdn producers, our exports have been replaced with lumber from Russia. (Their exports have increased 42% YTD at our expense.) Would you consider our negotiating position is more compelling and would you recommend adding softwood securities now? Q: My son is in his early 20s and building a portfolio based on your balanced portfolio. He currently holds 11 stocks. He has no industrials, communications and only TOY in the consumer space. We are thinking of selling ADN from his TFSA and replacing it with SIS or PBH as we know you recommend growth stocks in a TFSA. He also has MX in the material sector. Is this a good plan, not necessary, or do you have another suggestion from the above list that you think is better? Thanks
