Q: Good Morning Peter & Team,

Financial Performance has been mentioned as strongly profitable with a net profit margin over 45%. Year-over-year Quarterly revenue grew by almost 60%. Everything looked great. I took on a position and am now down over 10%. I know you never comment about personal rules one of which for myself is if it drops 10% below MV sell because only the pigs get slaughtered on wall street.

You're advice regarding what I should do (buy/hold/sell), is there any explanation you can provide why there there was a precipitous drop today, and would you remain bullish on this name?

Q: Hi,
I am wondering about whether or not replacing stocks sold for a tax loss strategy is prudent, or not. All of the above listed stocks are at a loss in a taxable account. I am looking to offset a large profit that occurred in July when a number of stops were hit. The loss on GSY and SBUX is not terribly large, and so if it is deemed these stand a good chance of rebounding in the early part of 2022, then I may decided to keep them. In selling any of the stocks listed, are their replacements I could purchase that would likely add some growth? The alternative being just wait out the 30 day period and repurchase the strongest of the list. Your thoughts and suggestions would be most appreciated! Q: SHOP has been drifting down quite a bit and seems to have no traction at all for the past couple of weeks. Realize it's a volatile stock. However, is there anything to be concerned about? Q: ABBV has had a good run recently. So good that it is now trading at a PE of approx. 32 from what I see. I see revenue has been consistently climbing, and P/CF appears to be a bit lower than it's historical numbers. However, according to Morningstar it I see that it is trading at approx. 1.2 above fair value - historically high for ABBV.

What are your thoughts on this stock? Will the revenue drop a year or two once the Humira patent cliff is hit? I'm assuming this may all be priced in. Just wondering if in your opinion the valuation has become stretched, or can be justified.

I was looking for your best bets for my 2022 tfsa contribution. I was leaning towards either Bam, Toi, or Lspd. What are your thoughts? Or do you have a better choice or 2 out there? I have a long term investment horizon 10yrs plus; and have no issue holding so long as the story in the name doesn’t turn negative . Thanks and happy new year !

Q: I paid a lot more attention to my investment approach this year, and obviously used your service to make a lot of my decisions, slowing trying to align with the recommendations of your portfolio analysis. I currently hold 25 different stocks.

Looking back at 2021 my overall investment return was 21.41%, slightly lower than the TSX Composite Index of return of 21.74%.

I'm not unhappy with that return, obviously, but I'm wondering given my level of success if I should be simplifying my life and just moving to a few ETFs to cover appropriate geography/industries and forget about it.

This is probably a hard question for you to answer but you might have some insight.

Q: Is this a good price to buy at today? What is your view on the Multi-year deal with google. How do you feel this will impact future growth and profitability. Day of the announcement saw an early morning +10% , only to erode by end of day. Reason for such impact?
