Q: My allocation in the consumer category is at its maximum. Would a swap of NFI for GIL make sense?

Q: CLIQ( 2.0%) NFI(2.2%) TCL.A(2.4%) WEF(2.7%) I am in a loss position in these 4 stocks and have some cash and wondered if I should top all of these stocks to a 3% weight ? All of these stock are held in a RRSP account and have 20 years before retirement.

Q: Bought a year ago at $55.00 and now down quite a bit. I own 1000 shs and was thinking of adding another 1000 shs - just > dividend substantially & plenty of contracts. At 2000 SHS would be a very small % of total portfolio.
Q: Just read that New York City Transit has awarded NFI with a contract for 15 low floor sixty-foot battery-electric, zero-emission, heavy-duty transit buses. Is this a substantial order?
NFI always makes this type of announcements and that seldom move the share price, but this one seem to have a positive effect on it today. Especially the announcement was made after closing, interesting. Your take? Thanks.

Q: Good afternoon gang
I am underwater in all of these stocks in one of my non registered accounts. I would like to sell and then buy back in 30 days or more in my TFSA or RRIF (not sure which). Do you feel any of these may pop up within that time frame? With that in mind in what order should I sell first..to last? Your suggestions will be greatly valued as always.
much thanks

Q: Hi 5i Team,
I hold about 5% in each of these companies, with the rest in indices (XAW, VCN) and cash. Do you have any recommendations for other companies I should be looking at to diversify? Thanks for the help!

Q: If you did not own this, would you buy it today or would you wait for things to settle? Are there other stocks within this sector that you would purchase in lieu of NFI. What is their payout ratio?
Thanks for your service

Q: What seems to trigger the NFI dumping since the last results were released? On a TA basis NFI is way oversold. Is this a bottom fishing opportunity, or we should just stay away from this "falling knife"? Thanks.

Q: Hello, 5i's sector classification for NFI is Industrials. However, when I look at either the TSX classification or the Company profile (5i Research) or Yahoo Finance, etc., all of these put NFI as Consumer Cyclical. I understand it could be difficult to classify, in that case would you advise to defer to the TSX classification? Thanks, Gervais
Q: Good Morning,
Should we be picking away at NFI for a long term RESP hold?? Or just stay away from a falling knife? Thanks

Q: I am thinking of switching NFI for CAE mostly for growth. What do you think?
Q: Would you consider Toy and NFI dead money over next 6-12 mons. If so, what would you replace them with?
Q: Comments on NFI results? Where do these results leave your updated opinion. I believe I saw a nice dividend increase but would like your take.
Q: I wished I'd asked this a couple weeks ago when I first came across this. NFI profile on 5i and TMX Money shows EPS last 12 months as $4.00. The company numbers are $2.75, y/e 2017=$3.06 and y/e 2016 $2.10. Can you shed any light on this discrepancy?
Expected EPS today I have $0.85. What do you have?

Q: I am down 30 percent at this point. I believe in the company and product. In your answer to Wes this morning you cited competition as a threat. Who is the potential competition in North America, and what are your thoughts on adding to a position at this time (regardless of weighting)
Thanks
Phil

Q: Thanks for the fast response on NFI , my question was for a sell or hold+recommendation for 3 years.
If I read between the lines I take it as a sell.
Thanks

Q: What triggers today's rather substantial drop in NFI out of the blue?
In late February my CIBC daily TA report warned that NFI could drop down to the $26.75 to $28.25 level in about a month or so. Do you have any other TA reports to support that may be this is where this name is heading? Thanks.

Q: Hi, been looking at nfi for a while ,I did buy it originally for a steady dividend stock with a little growth?? Did not work out the way I thought ,not sure why?
Question is to sell, or to buy more within a 6% holding because it is down so low.
I’am at a point of selling all or topping off, which way would you go for the next 3 years.
Thanks
