Q: Good Afternoon - I currently overweight in Consumer Discretionary stocks and would like to trim the number of stocks held. I am a long term investor (10+) with a healthy risk tolerance. Which in this group are your favourites? Which would you sell first? Thanks. Janet

Q: Just read that New York City Transit has awarded NFI with a contract for 15 low floor sixty-foot battery-electric, zero-emission, heavy-duty transit buses. Is this a substantial order?

NFI always makes this type of announcements and that seldom move the share price, but this one seem to have a positive effect on it today. Especially the announcement was made after closing, interesting. Your take? Thanks.

Q: Good afternoon gang
I am underwater in all of these stocks in one of my non registered accounts. I would like to sell and then buy back in 30 days or more in my TFSA or RRIF (not sure which). Do you feel any of these may pop up within that time frame? With that in mind in what order should I sell first..to last? Your suggestions will be greatly valued as always.

much thanks

Q: Hi 5i Team,

I hold about 5% in each of these companies, with the rest in indices (XAW, VCN) and cash. Do you have any recommendations for other companies I should be looking at to diversify? Thanks for the help!

Q: Hello Peter, Ryan, and Team

I need to raise some cash and would like to know how you would rank these stocks from "sell first" to "sell last":

BLX 1.07%
BNS 1.9%
KXS 1.35%
NFI 0.81%
PBH 1.7%
SIS 2.22%
SYZ 0.94%
TFII 0.58%

I am underwater on all of these. The number following each symbol is the stock's weighting.

Thanks for your assistance.

Q: Hello, 5i's sector classification for NFI is Industrials. However, when I look at either the TSX classification or the Company profile (5i Research) or Yahoo Finance, etc., all of these put NFI as Consumer Cyclical. I understand it could be difficult to classify, in that case would you advise to defer to the TSX classification? Thanks, Gervais

Q: Hi, been looking at nfi for a while ,I did buy it originally for a steady dividend stock with a little growth?? Did not work out the way I thought ,not sure why?
Question is to sell, or to buy more within a 6% holding because it is down so low.
I’am at a point of selling all or topping off, which way would you go for the next 3 years.
Thanks

Q: Hello Peter, Ryan and Team,

I have been plucking the weeds and watering the flowers. These three are my biggest losers in a taxable account down between 20% to 30% and haven't been rallying as the others. Can you make the case for both buying and selling each of these? Thank you,

Wes
