Q: Whats your opinion on OGI after the MOU from the NB province?
Q: Hello Peter and 5i team,
I have done very well with Linamar and was thinking that it might be wise to switch to Magna at this time. It seems that Magna has a bigger global footprint and a better chance of participating in the electric car movement, especially over seas. Linamar appears more focused on non electric vehicles .
I would greatly appreciate your opinion, thanks

Q: Hi Peter,
Since Covalan Technologies is a small cap, i was thinking of trading it, but it could turn out to be a long term play. With the recent news, the stock jumped to $4.60 but has been going back and forth between 3.90 and 4.60. My average cost is 3.30. In this cases, should one simply trade it or simply hang on for more profits later given the good news release. Any idea why Pengrowth is surging over the last two days. I am not seeing any recent news and if you are able to access the recent releases, can you suggest a link please? Finally, i am thinking of boosting my GUD and BIP.UN to 5% weights which is my max per stock. Any comments. Thanks very much.

Q: I sold out of a position and have some cash to work with. I have narrowed it down to three stocks and I'm struggling to pick which one is better at this time. Which of the above would you pick as the long term holding that you feel would have the best return if bought today? Disregard sector allocation. Thanks

Q: Each of the above stocks I have owned for a number of years and am enjoying a good profit. However, in the past year they have just drifted and are simply no longer growth stocks. I am considering selling all or parts of these positions. Could you rank order them for me in terms of what would you sell first and what % of the position. I understand you might also suggest not to sell any of them and in fact add to them. This type of reassurance would be welcome as clearly I have lost conviction in these names. There is no rush here and I don't need to raise capital for other purchases.

Q: If you had two or three hundred thousand dollars (not in an RRSP or TFSA), and you wanted to grow it aggressively for a period of about three to five years, how would you invest it, and what kind of a return would you expect? Would your answer be different if it was only fifty thousand? Assume that I don't need any income from the investment, that I have maximal tolerance for risk, and that I've already tried tulips but I was 380 years too late. Thanks.
Q: Hi, which marijuana stock you recommend the most at this time ? Thank you.

Q: This article gives the best explanation I have come across about MERs. It includes some great comparative examples to show how the MER on investments can make a difference to your return.

Q: I've been doing some calculating...
Currently Canopy growth has about 40M in sales on 58,000 registered patients out of a possible 208,000 - that's about 28% of the medical market.
A recent CBC poll came up with about 8 million recreational users in Canada that would potentially buy pot once legalized. Given Canopy Growth's market dominance (and many other factors) it's not hard to see their sales topping $1 Billion/yr. within the next 5 years.
My questions: Would Canopy still be considered over-valued at their current market cap if their sales were $1 Billion? What's the minimum you would expect a company's market cap in the recreational marijuana sector to be if it had sales of $1 Billion?

Q: Hi Peter,
As a follow up to my previous question, a 1-2 year hold was probably unreasonable so would you have any picks for a 3-5 year hold? I already own SIS and GUD for the long term.
Thank you.

Q: Hi Peter,
Do you know of any companies where the stock price has tanked recently and due to solid fundamentals/management/cycles/etc you would hope to see a dramatic recovery? Basically, I'm looking for good companies with a great risk to reward ratio, for a 1-2 year hold....any Canadian stocks and maybe even a few US ones.
Thank you.
