Q: hi,
can I get your opinion on the Aug. 9th Globe and Mail article by David Rosenberg and Bhawana Chhabra, "...It's time for investors to revisit their asset mix." And are you able to provide a few Canadian dollar ETF's to buy ( US treasury index? other? ), if you would in fact recommend that?
thanks, Chris

Q: Dear 5i,
If one wanted to get exposure to Japan using either FLJP or FLJH and had a medium to long term view that the Japanese currency was going to get stronger than the US dollar. Which ETF is the best one to purchase for maximum appreciation? I often get confused with hedged and non-hedged products. Can you share any simple rules I might use in future to avoid the confusion. Thanks

Q: Saw this on Business Insider. Would you be able to tell me the names of the Index Funds & the one that was up 500%?

Thank you.

Q: USHY iShares Broad USD High Yield Corporate Bond ETF (not in your data base).
Is this a good time to buy a bond fund like USHY? It seems to do the same thing as HYG , has much lower MER and a higher distribution (above learned after using the comparison tool at ETF.com). Does USHY have a higher risk than HYG? Is this a reasonably good time to buy such a fund?

Q: Are etfs the best way to incorporate a Japan exposure into one's portfolio? If so, which do you recommend as the best combination of dividend/growth? Thanks.
Q: IDVO , Amplify International Enhanced Dividend Income ETF (not in your data base) looks interesting. It is actively managed by Kevin Simpson who *usually* makes sense. Simpson also manages DIVO. Concentrated ETF. Question: Am I unwise to give preference to ETFs with less than a hundred companies?
IDVO seems thinly traded and hasn’t been around long. I would appreciate your insight, and thoughts, very much. Is this a good vehicle at current prices for additional diversification with a good dividend. If not IDVO, do you have a different ETF for international exposure?

Q: Peter; My 25 year old granddaughter is interested in buying gold- she’s a CA already and is now working in M&A with an accounting firm. Any suggestions as to how to “ buy” gold for her age and time frame would be appreciated. Thanks.

Q: Hi there, there are many "all in one" etfs to pick from these days. If a person wanted to have a super simple portfolio, what would be your favourite (or the best) ETF to hold to gain 100% equity exposure that would require the least amount of maintenance? I know there is XEQT, VEQT, XAW, VXC, XWD, HGRO and many more. What would be your favourite? (Does not have to appear on the ones I have listed)
Thanks!
Thanks!
Q: What is your favourite emerging market at this time. The one that in your opinion has the best risk vs reward potential.
What ETF would you reccomend to best take advantage of this potential opportunity. I am looking for some international diversification in my TFSA.
Thanks very much!

Q: Hi there,
The majority of my portfolio is held in XEQT. If I wanted to increase US exposure from 45% to 60%, in your opinion would to be best to layer in a hedged or unhedged US etf, considering XEQT already holds unhedged US exposure?
Thanks!

Q: Thanks for your comprehensive answer on digital etfs. I have another related question: how safe are the underlining storage companies, Coinbase and Gemini Trust?
