Q: Hello Peter and Staff:
I am a retired investor with a 4 % position in Corus common shares.
With today's 2018 1st Quarter results and negative market reaction, I would like your comments and advice as to what to do with this stock.
The dividend has been maintained for the next 3 months and I like the income but am concerned about preserving my capital.

Q: I own about 16% utilities - all have been falling quite a bit recently. Based on my limited knowledge of technicals, it seems that they are all at their support levels (except TRP which appears to be below that level). Is it time to buy into these utility stocks based on technicals, or does it seem that they are going to fall some more based on interest rate hike fears, so it would be best to lighten up on utilities? or just do nothing?

Q: I read that cHR may be expanding their reach. Do you have a perspective on whether the possible expansion of CHR flights could potentially affect the business model for EIF? Could you compare the two companies now as to risk and BUY, HOLD or SELL?

Q: Can you explain why there is some expectation of a dividend cut at Corus? Is it possible that the company is very undervalued? They seem to have plenty of cash flow and the dividend is well covered, according to figures on TD's site, and your answer in Oct/17:

"Looking at nine month numbers (most recent financials), operating cash flow was $311M, and $78.6M in dividends were paid, for a ratio of 25.3%. If one includes working capital changes in the cash flow figure (we would generally exclude this due to the short term and timing nature of working capital items), the ratio changes to 37%."

Q: I have recently purchased ENB, having owned TRP for a number of years. I need to do some sector adjusting and these two jump out as overlapping industries in my RRSP. I would anticipate holding one or the other mid to longer term. Which of these two do you feel would offer longer term opportunity? If I were to sell ENB, I would not be in a rush and would sell on opportunity if it spiked a few dollars north of where they are today and enjoy dividend in the meantime.

Q: Hello,
I hold BIP.UN and AQN in my RSP and am considering lightening up in the utility space.
I hold them in equal amounts, if I am considering selling one position what would you recommend ? I consider them to be medium term (3-5 year) positions.
