Q: Is Real Estate a good investment in an inflationary environment? I have Prologis, Public Storage and American Tower on my watchlist. Can you please rank them and provide any other suggestion you might have.

Q: A year ago I asked for your opinion on these stocks to incorporate into my current portfolio of banks, utilities, REITS, infrastructure, etc. My first purchase was BAM With the current market decline I see an opportunity to purchase another stock. From a technical view which looks most attractive? From a fundamental view which looks the most attractive ? Which would you purchase next? Thanks. Derek

Q: Me, pondering a move or two and would like your take. In a LIRA that is diversified and balanced for stability and with say 20 years to go, I hold BAMR with a weighting of 2.66%. And I'm pondering selling it and replacing with with more GOOG, current weighting of 2.67% as GOOG, for me, has a risk factor of 9 out of 10 and is highly profitable......and that would take the position weighting up to say 4.5%.And then with the remaining cash, buy a starter position in MED, with my risk factor of 6 out of 10 and with both high growth and profitability and seems to be undervalued relative to its food product peers.Or rather than MED, take a starting position in Accenture PLC, with a risk rating of 9 out of 10 and with high profitability and low risk relative to its business support service service peersNow pondering what to do....Go with an add to GOOG and take a start position with MED or ACN......or take equal starter position in both of MED and ACN???....or another option that you might suggest I consider. ........Thanks for the assistance.........Tom

Q: Consensus is that a recession is coming, question is when. When the recession hits will that be a precursor to a bear market? If so will that be cyclical or secular?
You recently answered a question stating that recessions typically last less than a year. If so that would suggest it may be a precursor to a cyclical bear market but not a secular (multi year??) bear market.
Many pundits suggest we are in the late innings of a secular bull market, which started in 2009, I wonder whether this imminent recession would be the precursor to a pending secular bear market, thoughts?

Q: In an answer earlier this year, you mentioned IGM as having "turned itself around"; did you mean (for example) changes in its business practices, or its break-out from its pre-pandemic trading range? In another answer, you spoke of CIX's "high leverage to capital markets"; how do CIX, FSZ, and IGM compare in this respect? You've characterized the sector as "fairly cheap, with not a whole lot of organic growth and lots of pressure on margins"; given this backdrop (and assuming the sector is even investable), is IGM's relative market cap (3X CIX, 10X FSZ) a material reason to prefer it over the other two? Or is CIX's depressed share price (and implied growth-potential) more decisive?
