Q: My current yield on this is 19 percent which is hard to replace. My concern is that they can’t afford to pay the dividend and are using debt to make up the shortfall. Is there a possibility of a dividend cut here and at what price oil price should it be safe ? How does the debt look ?
Q: Hello, are there bond ETFs in CAN$ that would not pay interest, for a taxable account? Thanks.

Q: Of the above companies which would you choose for a TFSA if you were to select only one? Please rank them in order (best to "less best") re your expectations for long term growth (say, over the next 10 years).
If you had only one pick for a long term TFSA hold of any stock (or ETF) without regard to CAD vs US, market sector or market cap, what would that be, assuming a young (mid-20's) investor with a currently well diversified, growth-oriented TFSA?

Q: What can you tell me about ASTS as an investment opportunity. There is very little information on the company fundamentals that I can find. Is this purely speculative investment?
Much appreciated

Q: Where so many growth companies have been on fire over the last 6-8 months, UBER's price is the same as it was in February of this year. What would have to happen to spark a resurgence in this stock...and how likely is this to occur over the next 6-8 months? With so many other opportunities out there, I'm having difficulty justifying holding on to UBER. Thank you.

Q: HI,
Is there a future for small EV manufacturers? Most of them are bankrupt or doing poorly (VMC, LEV, RIVN,NIO,LCID). I owned NFI in the past. Seems one of the last survivors, besides large American (TSLA, F, GM) or Chinese companies (LI, BYD). Would you invest in this sector, if somebody does not want to support chinese businesses? Which stocks would you find interesting right now, or post-Trump taking office? Could be stocks related to the sector, but less sensitive. Thanks a lot.

Q: At what price point would you be a buyer of TD for a long term hold? And do you think given the current difficulties, the dividend will hold/grow?
Q: I am looking at hedged ETF's and specifically VSP. I was interested to see how well the ETF tracked the index and found that over a 5 year time frame - it underperformed by about 11%. (Total return for VSP is 81.0% and SPX is 93.33% - The Vanguard US ETF - VOO tracks SPX almost exactly.)
I am assuming that this underperformance is because the hedging strategy is not perfect?? .......or does the 11% difference represent the cost of hedging?? Also - would other hedged ETF's have similar comparisons??
Thanks

Q: Hello, thank you for your answer on the VGAB ETF. VGAB has about 50% of its holdings in the US, can you recommend CAN$ bond ETFs with 100% holdings in the US? Thanks.
Q: Hi 5i,
For a US ETF in a non-registered account, would it be more tax efficient to hold HXS because it doesn't pay a distribution, versus ZSP which does? Would you recommend ZSP over HXS for any particular reason?
Thanks

Q: I would appreciate your thoughts on US small caps and some ideas of how one might invest in US small caps for the next 2 to 3 years. Thank you.
Q: You probably will get a few questions in regards to this company. What are your views of stack capital and how do they operate.
