I have some cash in my TFSA. My return in this account has not been good.
I am looking to invest in a growth stock. Of all of these stocks I listed, which one would you recommend for me to invest in?

Q: Hi Peter & Team;
VII is now down 15% on the news of missed production for 2017. This is the only energy stock that I own and represents 2.5% of my portfolio. I am down about 35%. Should I hold and see what happens in 2018 or dump it? I am reluctant to buy another energy stock if I sell.

Q: i own both yangarra and surge, they both announced results in the last days and they were excellent on every metric, they are making tons of money even with oil between 42-48, and yet the stocks do squat.why, is this just sentiment towards oil, does the market feel oil is going to 30-35, do investors fear electric cars, i just do not get it. dave

In your collective opinion what would push Vet down and not WCP
I owned vet for some time and feel it is solid due to its international exposure but I think I am wrong .

Q: I am interested in potentially adding to XTC. I currently have a 2.5% position. I hold it instead of Magna in a portfolio that reflects your balanced portfolio. Any comments on their current earnings release? Would now be a good time to top up this position by 1% to 3.5% weighting?

Q: The Russell 2000 has had a nice run up and now appears to be descending. I need US$ and would like to realize my profits in US$ while the Cdn$ is strong. As I have Loss carry forwards for tax purposes there will be no tax payable on this transaction. Q: Just comments.AIF-basing on better than expected Q2 revenue & eps,3 firms(TD,CF & RY) raised target price to $36 & upgraded stock.Reportedly best one day performance since 8/15 PKI-RY & BNS downgraded target price to $31 & $33.75 CGX-6 out of 7 firms downgraded to $46-$52.1st time in the last 3 years that Ellis Jacob is not that upbeat in interview on BNN after release of results. In this strong earnings season,strong results will be handsomely rewarded(eg AIF,SHOP,TOY),& vice versa.
