From previous Q&As, you recommend DIR.UN as a solid replacement for AAR.UN. Does that still stand? It's had quite a run-up this year.
I know it's not "industrial", but where does CSH.UN stand in your view?

Q: Hi there,

I read an article in the globe a few days ago mentioning that this was one of the top performing Canadian listed ETFs. What are your thoughts on this sector and this ETF particularly? If one were going to purchase, would a hedged or unhedged version perform better in the long term?

Q: Greetings! I need to buy some safe dividend growth stocks for income, and a very long term hold. I already own plenty of bank stocks, telecom, ENB, ENF, IPL, MSI, FTS, AQN, CU.
This for a non-registered account, so .UN stocks are not of benefit. I have looked at the Income Model Portfolio. What would you consider to be good buys right now, whether or not the stocks are in the Model Portfolio? I also have a curiosity about EIF. Thank you.

Q: My life is increasingly shifting towards the U.S. (grandchildren live there and my wife is a U.S. citizen and we spend six months ever year there, with more time likely). as such, the U.S. dollar plays a bigger part of our lives. Added to that is my bearish outlook for the Can. Dollar and my belief a recession is becoming more likely. In the event of a global recession, is there any credible scenario in which the Can. dollar would appreciate vs. the Greenback. And could you provide any historical data regarding how the Can.$ fares vs. the U.S.$ in a recessionary situation.
