Q: Management is considering a spin off. Ranges of values are provided. If they do this what would you expect the spin off to trade at and what would the trading value of BAM be after spin off. What % would the sum of the parts be above the current trading value of BAM pre spin off.

Q: My wife has $75,000 to invest in her TFSA, in which she is also holding 100 shares of TD Bank along with 100 shares of TD in an RSP. She is retiring in a month has a defined pension plan, CPP, OAS. But she is still looking for dividend income either monthly or quarterly to supplement her income.
We are looking at going with "Beating the TSX Portfolio 2022" but also looking at ZWU and ZWC which look like they could bring in more income but higher fees. What are your thoughts? Thank you.

Q: Greetings,

Trying to reduce REIT holdings and would appreciate your advice: I don't mind keeping both but if one was sold and all the proceeds used to buy the other, then which one would you prefer to keep adding to? Both classified as "retail" . Which one has more potential to keep growing?

Q: Thank you for answering my question on Value ETFs. on February 9th. You had mentioned DFIV, IVLU and VBR in your selection but didn't include VVL.

I was wondering if this omission of VVL was intentional with some reason behind it or just a slip from your meory.

Few months ago to one of questions, you had mentioned that VVL has done well because it included banks. Do you think US banks still a value play?

Marcel asked a question about contributing $10k to his granddaughter's RESP. If he wants to maximize the juicy gov't grant, he should first review the rules under which the grant is awarded; that large a contribution may not all be recognized for the grant, if made in a single year.

Q: My total holdings are highly diversified across the sectors. I have some cash in a USD RRSP so dividends and some growth is welcome. I am looking to RIO, TECK, WFG, WMB and CCJ for their respective thematic relevance over a 3 -5 yr hold and would appreciate your comments on your one or two more favoured of this list.

Q: I would appreciate your thoughts on Verde Agritech recently issues 2.5 million tonnes permit and their plant 2 expansion which will result in overall production of 1.8 million tonnes.

With it's value increase its become a larger percentage of my portfolio and I think about trimming. However I also think about feeding the growers and the company is just entering an exciting period of growth.

Q: Hi

Would you have a recommendation for a bond ETF from BMO? I have no bond exposure now and I'm looking to start acquiring one or more bond ETFs - whatever you think might be a good mix considering all the relevant factors.

My brokerage is through BMOInvestorline so there is no trading commission if I use their products.
