Q: I have held ULTA for some time and is up nicely. It hit a new yearly high on Tuesday, I am considering selling half and adding to AAPL/AMZN/GOOG/MSFT. I feel confident that when the market turns these 4 will do well. I am not so confident about ULTA. Could I please have your thoughts? Would you sell all/half/none? If you agree, in what order would you add to the others?
Q: Given your recent answer regarding CROX, I had a look at the sector and noticed big moves yesterday. Also many of these are very near lows for the year. My question is would you put money to work in the sector now? Do you have a few favourites and is there an ETF that emphasizes this retail/clothing part of consumer discretionary as opposed to something like XLY which emphasizes very different segments? Thank-you again.
Q: Hello,
I have Flutter Entertainment shares OTC due to the all share deal from owning TSGI years ago. My question is should I sell these shares now and rebuy them with US dollars on a US exchange, that way if I make a large profit in the future it is less of an exchange fee? Or is there another company in the consumer sector you would recommend altogether?
Thank you,
Q: I currently hold Starbucks in our dividend portfolio. Given the rise in wages and new union issues would you continue to hold? If not Starbucks, is there another stock in Consumer Discretionary that you prefer for dividend growth?
Q: The market did not like the muted outlook and the higher capital spending plans that ULTA management presented. There has also been some insider selling recently. Hold or sell?
Q: I do not see this company in your data base, please add.
SKIN Beauty Health Co
Can you please tell me a bit about it.
Is it a buy, hold, or sell.
Thank you
Q: Hi Peter,
What would be your today best growth companies 3 US and 3 canadian with good fundamentals other than technology. Please list inorder of their risk.
Q: CEO is leaving after a relatively short stint, they guided down, but were they overly conservative? Yes, they can handle on-line, but these types of sales benefit greatly from the in-person experience, so shouldn't this company be a beneficiary of the re-open trade, regardless of their having guided down?
Your thoughts, please?
Q: Hello,
In the consumer discretionary sector would you consider COTY or ULTA to be attractive? Which one would you pick?
COTY was an offshoot of PG I believe..TOI is from CSU..Does Mark Leonard have any say in the management of TOI? If Topicus were to follow in CSU's footsteps (framework) they would do very well. Are there any such precedents where offshoots have done very well? Why do companies sell of portions of the company? Thanks and happy family day. No rush to answer these questions. Cheers, Shyam
Q: Hello Folks:
As the Covid situation has hastened the move to online shopping, some brick and mortar stores are going to have a much brighter future than others. Businesses such as Walmart and Best Buy appear to be having more success than others. I would appreciate your suggestions on choosing companies which have the brightest future integrating these two systems.
Thank you again for your great service!

Q: Can you please comment on this security. It has been crushed as of late. Please comment on the strength of their online business, and balance sheet. Do you feel they will be a survivor. Is this a compelling buy?
Thank you
