Q: I own Pet Value and am down 30%. The company's financials indicate continuing growth and it seems well managed. Is this a buying opportunity or a hold. Your opinion please. Thanks. Gerry
Q: Hello, now that Chewy has announced coming to Canada in Q3, what do you think is the outlook for PET? Is the close-to-25% drop in share price since March enough to price in this development? Thanks
Q: Hi, I was wondering about your thoughts on Pet Valu. Would you consider it to be at a good price to start a position in this name. How would you rate it for safety and possible upside 1-10 higher being better.
Thank you!
Q: I would like i5R thoughts on how to invest this year’s RESP contribution. Withdraws will occur around 2038. I am trying to decide between, DOO, DOL, ATD, PET, XIC & XIU. Do you have any recommendations or should I just flip a coin. Thanks … Cal
Q: My veterinarian makes a killing off me. With pet ownership rising, and pets being increasingly considered part of the family, I see this as a growth business.
Are there any public companies that own and consolidate veterinarian businesses, similar to what is done by dental Corp, storage vault, neighborly, etc for their respective businesses. Thanks
Q: I tried to apply Chris White's 5 factors to PET however impossible as only been public for less that 1.5 years. That said, does 5i have an opinion on how investable PET is at this point? Personally I think with the PE of 25, increasing revenue and earnings (albeit short period), and a narrative that I think makes sense, I feel that it should have a bright future as I see a lot of stores going up.
The results today out of Pet Value looked good. Can you please comment on the results and if you would rate this company as a buy or sell. If a buy, how bullish would you be on the company and how would it compare to something like an ATD or DOL?
Q: Although I realize these two companies are very different which one do you see as having a better growth profile. Are there any issues that I should watch out for on either of the names. Thanks.
