Q: Hi 5i, What is your current read on the attractiveness of investing in TLT? I assume it would be best to hold in a registered account but you could please confirm. If acquiring just one bond fund today, would this be your preferred choice, and/or is there a comparable CDN bond fund worth considering? Thanks.

I am thinking about selling PLC for a tax loss and buying again in 30 days. I know the previous exdividend date was in June but I don't know how to find out when the next one is, as this might affect my decision. Do you see any catalysts that would affect this stock in the next thirty days, or do you think that it will not rise much in that time?

Governments have committed to installing charging stations to accommodate future demand.

What is the current status of power generating facilities. How easily can they ramp up supply to satisfy the future demand or is there already enough capacity.

Q: The Globe just had an interesting piece by a RY high yield bond fund manager and I'm curious about your thoughts on the gain potential which assumes inflation is defeated in a year or two. I am reluctant to pay fund fees again so if there is an ETF you can suggest which deals with corporate bonds it would be appreciated. thanks Al

Q: NVDA is a top US favourite of yours. An article yesterday that husband of Nancy Pelosi reportedly bought $1-$5m shares of NVDA. before a bill of $52B in chip subsidies and/or tax credit go to the Senate for vote as early as Tuesday. In light of the foregoing is it timely to buy some NVDA and/or AMD in this market backdrop which had imparted lots of pain. Txs for u usual great services & views.

Q: I have a sense that retail investors are still buying the dips and we haven't seen real capitulation. Do you have any data sources that would help to inform this thesis?

Q: What is 5i's opinion on the year to date results for Caldwell Partners? While quarterly EPS results can be skewed by the stock base comp. charge, the revenues and cash are growing significantly.

Q: Would you consider Bam.a sort of similar to a mutual fund in that it’s investments cover a broad geography in many divergent business’s?

Q: What would account for ATCO's lackluster performance over the last 10 years? Lumpy earnings? The chart looks quite good in the years prior to 2012, and the dividend appears to have been raised fairly regularly.

As a retired dividend stock investor, I am interested in it's diversification. I do have exposure to the Brookfields, but do you think there is enough difference between ATCO and BIP/BEP to warrant an investment in this company?

Q: NVEI is down only 78% from its highs. Goldman came out this morning with this downgrade and commentary :


Nuvei downgraded to Neutral from Buy at Goldman Sachs Goldman Sachs analyst Will Nance downgraded Nuvei to Neutral from Buy with a price target of $40, down from $72. The analyst believes the company's revenue growth could be under pressure as a result of pressure on its crypto sales given the decline in crypto prices activity. In addition, softening economic trends will weigh on Nuvei's "largely discretionary verticals" of online gaming, currency trading, sports betting, and crypto trading, Nance tells investors in a research note. In addition, continued currency headwinds "could be an incremental drag on back half of the year revenues," says the analyst.

Their target is $US so the Cdn target is approx $52.

Do you have any comments on the points of the downgrade or are you in agreement with all said. And if so should we sell what is left before it goes to Zero/
