Q: The other day Bruce asked about buying ATA at the current price. The answer concluded with " it remains fine to buy, but it should not be a 'buy and forget' name".
I am pretty much a buy and hold investor. What can a retail investor with limited access to research and market information (and limited wherewithal to understand the market) do to assess when if might be time to sell this stock?
Thank you for your excellent service.
Q: from a long term perspective how does engh and csu an look today? How does the value look with regards to forward PE and other metrics 5i would look at? Thx
Q: TRUL ... with recent activities and target stock prices from many brokerages between $96 to $85 ... is this undervalued and is this a good buy at this price
Q: VEEV has taken a big tumble. I can find this " VEEV slips as burgeoning industry headwinds offset strong Q2", plus several analysts who have raised their target, anywhere from $295 - $340. VEEV is part of my growth portfolio, I'm still up 25%. I have most of the growth stocks talked about regularly, except AFRM and NVEI. Looking at momentum/growth rather than sector, would you warrant a switch from VEEV to one of the others, and if so, which one, considering there would be a currency swap involved in NVEI. Thanks!
Q: Do you know what the average portfolio turnover rate is for retail investors and how that compares to actively managed funds? My sense is that lots of individuals feel that they are long term investors but that in reality there is much more "swapping" and trading within individual accounts than would be expected.
Thanks
Marc
On a August 31 answer you listed BRP as "Consumer Defensive". I think it may have just been put in the wrong category, but could you confirm? In all my looking I don't see anything other than recreation related products.
Q: I know you like AEM a lot. What are your predictions on it?you think its buy able right now.
Or do you see a better entry point?
The dividend is over 2%,so could you use it as an income stock as well?
If its bought on the NYSE ,there would not be any with holding tax on the dividend..correct?
