Q: The fixed income portion of my portfolio is fairly low. Would now be a good time switch from equities into fixed income in bonds, or has the horse left the barn? What would be, in your opinion, some suggestions for fixed income?
Much appreciated.

Q: Aside from LLY and NVO, what other healthcare companies might enjoy success with weight loss drugs or products related to them? I’ve heard good things about ABT., AMGN, PFE, AZN, RHHBY and others in this regard, but I was wondering how you might rank them and/or others (most promising names first). I’m quite interested in Roche which has been showing strength after a long period of weakness (it’s now $35.69 as of Friday July 12).

Q: Hi Everyone!! Kathy Wood was interviewed by Amanda Lang recently and her crystal ball says that the areas to be in, which will do well ,are robotics, energy storage , Ai, block chain and multiomic sequencing. Do you agree? And if you had to chose a company which best represents these five fields, what would they be??
Cheers,
Tamara

Q: The stocks are held in m grandson's RESP. Please recommend any others or substitutes. He will not need to access these funds for at least 3 years. At what point would you consider beginning to move out of these growthier equities into less volatile of lower risk? Do you have any recommendations for quality dividend payors that you would slowly accumulate as you reduced these equities?

Thanks very much for your advice.

Mike

Q: ETN is a theme play that is on the move. I'm thinking of selling UNH (considered defensive) and buying ETN even though it is more cyclical in nature. Other healthcare names held are ABBV, ABT, BSX, ISRQ, LLY (starting position), and SYK. Currently, health care makes up 9.71% of the total portfolio compared to industrial at 19.12%......What do you say about this stock change? And other suggestions are most welcomed!.....Tom

Q: A relative that because the US stock market is at all-time highs it is about to crash. Thus they don't want to invest anything in stocks, even an index-tracking ETF. Historical PE ratios are a big point of this argument. Can you suggest anything to read that might moderate this kind of thinking?

Q: Sometimes a newspaper will showcase a company. For example, The Globe and Mail recently had a story about Artemis Gold. The takeaway was that one should buy it.

Based on your experience, do such articles give the mentioned company a boost?

Are these types of articles trustworthy?

Yours kindly,
David
