Thanks

- NFI Group Inc. (NFI)
- Lassonde Industries Inc. Class A Subordinate Voting Shares (LAS.A)
Q: I am attracted to Lassonde's P/E of 12 and D/E of 0.4, but becoming concerned about Canadian companies with significant US exposure. Can you provide any insight or point me to articles that discuss the impact of Buy America policies on Canadian companies such as LAS.A (may sell juice to military bases or other federal programs), CVE (owns part of American refineries) or NFI (was expected to benefit from US funding of EV transit)? Thanks for any information you can provide. Use as many credits as you feel are required.

Q: I am looking to "trim the fat" from my TFSA, which currently holds 20 stocks: ATD, BCE, BMO, BNS, CCO, CM, ENB, FFH, PDYPF, INO.UN, LAS, NXE, NWC, NA, NTR, PEY, PZA, MJJ, TRP, WELL. Are there any positions that raise red flags with you? In addition, could you suggest 3 or 4 value picks suitable for a long-term hold (20 years plus)?
Thank you!
Thank you!
Q: I've held Lassonde for a couple of years and am off 30%. Buy more or sell?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: May I get your thoughts on Lassonde Industries. Is the sell-off overdone as a result of competitors in the US and would you hold this consumer defensive in your TFSA? (High ROE/Growing Dividend/ Established brands)
Thank you
Thank you
Q: Hi guys
I have held Lassonde for a long time and done very well, but the past year has not been kind to the stock price. And then there is this recent profit warning. I have not issue being patient if this is a blip but wonder whether this is the start of a trend with trade issues and people turning away from fruit juices. Your thoughts on this profit warning and this company going forward. By the way thank you so very much for bringing CSU to my attention as it has gone up exponentially since your recommendation many years ago. I harvested a bit of my profits today to bring the holding back to 5%.
Thanks
Stuart

Q: What are you thoughts on this company? They seem to have most of the market share in juices category in Canada with US exposure due to past acquisitions. Thanks.
Q: Would it be a good decision for Lassonde to split since the share is now over 200.00 ? If yes why? and if no why ?
- Toromont Industries Ltd. (TIH)
- MTY Food Group Inc. (MTY)
- Cargojet Inc. Common and Variable Voting Shares (CJT)

Q: I know these are different sectors and market caps, regardless of portfolio specifics which would you guys consider being the better choice for a long term holding with a brief reason why.
Thanks guys
Thanks guys
Q: Company gave the higher input cost and transportation as the reason of lower profit in 2Q-2018 and the stock fall 15% to 18%. Is this a concern for future or there is some thing more which pushed the price lower? Do you recommend adding to the position? It weights less than 1% of my portfolio.
Q: Questions:
(1) How would you rate Lassonde's earnings report? Is it a company worth holding taking into account their eps growth and debt profile?
(2) Do you see any red flags for the longer term regarding TSGI's eps growth. I'm surprised the market has such a negative view of the lowered eps guidance if most of it was a result of the higher share count. I would be interested in hearing your thoughts.
Thanks.
John

Q: Good day...I have looked at all of your responses to LAS.A...my question is with its higher debt, thin trading and growing dividend would this company make your high expectations from a company you would hold in a portfolio...at this time I have all of your balanced and an equal amount of income portfolio stocks and have been very thankful that I found your service...this stock is one that I am looking at to replace ECI in my portfolio...again thanks for a great gain...I look forward to your comments...Gene
Q: Greetings 5i crew.
I would like to eventually add Lassonde and Waste Connections to my portfolio. If you could only add one today, for the long term, which would you select and why?
Thank you.

Q: Hi there,
I haven't seen any coverage of this until something on a popular investment site the other day. LAS.A has gone from $80 to $256 in 5 years but seems to be completely unknown. It was just touted as a great growth stock for the next year. Does it offer value at $250/share? Any catalysts for growth to continue? Finally, Buy, sell or hold and why?
Thanks!

Q: What do you think about the recent earnings out of LAS.A? I see that National Bank raised their target from $250 to $270.

Q: Howdy! The Kiki Delaney chapter in "Market Masters" has inspired me to invest more in Quebec-based equities. I already have BCE, CAE, CNR & GUD. Please rank the top 3 in this list (or other Quebec-based equities that I didn't list) to add right now purely on long-term (3-5 yrs) appreciation (value + dividends).
Thank you,
