Q: All 3 stocks have recently been down and are continuing to drop today (Tuesday). Your blog on the CSU/Leonard call about AI recapped what was said and indicated premiums assigned to these stocks may be lowered. Looks like it's now underway. I was hoping for more thought on what might happen in the future? As many of your customers own these stocks, it would be nice if 5i could issue quick reports on them. Are they still rated high or have they gone down a notch, or two or three? Are they rated buy, hold or sell? Where does 5i see these stocks' prices in 3, 6 and 12 months from now? I realize there are many unknowns and predicting the future is tough, but 5i has done this generally quite well in the past. These 3 stocks appear to widely held and deserve more attention at this time.

Q: Thank you for the timely and well-done blog on CSU.
Two questions:

1) Would YOU put new/fresh money into CSU TODAY? Please give a brief reasoning for your answer.

2) If YOU had owned CSU shares for a number of years, what would you do with them today (irrespective of portfolio make-up)? Please give a brief reasoning for your answer.

Thank you

Q: Retired, dividend-income investor with a well diversified portfolio (in my opinion anyway). My proxy for the technology sector is XIT and it has performed very well over the long time period I have held it. I like using your charting ability to compare XIT to QQQ or other related tech companies or ETFs....great feature!

Question #1 = With all of the "AI" interest right now, I wonder how much exposure does XIT have to the AI theme? Which of the embedded companies within XIT have AI exposure?

Question # 2 = Is there is an ETF that focuses on AI-related companies or is there an ETF that focuses on AI-generated stock picks (in any sector) and what your thoughts are?

Thanks....Steve

Q: Can you name 5-10 stocks in the US or Canada that seem to have been unfairly punished this year, or even lately, such that it would be a good time to pick them up. Thanks!

Q: On Sep 12, 2025 you commented:

GIB.A can benefit from AI, and it is heavily investing in AI, but some consultant roles can be replaced by AI, and overall we think there are more interesting names in the market right now for the growth model portfolio.

Who are the more interesting names? Canadians, American and Why do think they will do better?

Q: Hi,
Could you illustrate to us all what type of companies/stocks and/or sectors historically have performed the best ( or least worst ) over periods of recession/depression/stagflation and war times? And further, can you provide your top 5-10 CDN stocks that you think would do best in these situations, with at least half of them dividend payers please, if possible. Potential ETF and options strategies would be appreciated as well. Take as many points as you see fit.
cheers and thanks, Chris

Q: My son (23) has 9000$ to invest in his first TFSA (he already has a FHSA account that is maxed out). He wants to open a TFSA investing account. Do you have a recommendation for how he breaks up the 9000.00 (ie. 3 stocks)? Are there any sectors that he should focus on at first? Do any particular stocks jump out at you as suitable for this kind or foray into the market?

Thanks in advance
Sue

Q: These companies who buy other companies are dropping because of an AI scare.
Is it not possible for them to start adjusting and start buying AI companies to keep up with the present trend?

Is that possible?

Thanks

Q: Both are getting hit today, particularly TOI. Any idea why? I hear talk of AI affecting them. Is this a factor? If so, how critical is it and how much risk does it introduce? Do you still rate them high?

Q: Hello Folks:
A quick question:
What are your thoughts on AI"s future price
affects on the big tech firms such as Apple, Microsoft,
Google, Navidia, CSU etc. We are considering purchasing
CSU although their PE frightens us?
Thanks for all you do
