Looks like Suncor is working with activist investor Elliot, and is looking at possibly selling their retail business. My question is, what would be the most logical suitors, and what possible regulatory hurdles would they face.

Q: Greetings,

With the Euro/ USD hitting parity are there any stocks or ETF's that directly reflect the weakness in Euro's and allow us to invest in Europe at what is hopefully a discount?

We own ZWE and VGK - Do they reflect the weakness and could we buy more?

Q: These rate reset preferred are 70% of bank prime rate. I am confused on their fact sheet as to when the reset occur. now that all the major banks have increased to 4.7. when is the reset going into effect. The next dividend coming at the end of July is declared at the old rate, Will the rate adjust for the next dividend after this one?

Q: Hi 5i, can I have your current view on the market with respect to inflation, interest rates (inverted yield curve) and recession chances. I realize markets are forward looking and I'm trying to guage future rate increases as I have a few quarters of dividends to spend on income stocks. Oh, and what would be your top three dividend stock picks now? Was looking at SLF, BNS and AQN, but based on your answer to first part, I may hold off.

Q: I would like you to compare AMT and CCI. Do you think either of them work in this environment, and if so which would you prefer for a long term hold. I note that CCI has a higher yield but I am also curious about their growth prospects.

Q: Emerging market indices have been underperforming for some time now and are ostensibly quite undervalued relative to peers in aggregate. I happen to hold a fairly sizeable portion of my portfolio (~15%) in XEC. As such, I am curious as to your opinion on whether or not holding emerging market exposure is a valuable form of diversification in today's landscape. Finally, acknowledging you lack a crystal ball, do you anticipate emerging markets reverting to the mean in the foreseeable future?
