Q: Given the upcoming green technologies, what might be the most promising Canadian copper companies to invest in for medium term growth?

Q: I don't know what to think about this co. Not a lot of shares, real liquidity issue, no insider ownership, no dividend, posted another loss re earnings. Yet full year rev will be quite a large increase and profit expected. Tangible book value is 2x current share price. Why would someone buy, or thesis for buying?

Q: Earlier you answered a question about Crox vs BYD, and you mentioned the valuations were 8x vs 44x. Just curious what metric you are using there (P/E?), and what is the most commonly accepted metric when discussing the high level valuation of a company and if its cheap or expensive? Thx

Q: I hold the 3 following positions : SHOP (3%), LSPD (1.5%) with a 30%loss and NVEI (1%) with a 65% loss.
I want to clean a bit my portfolio, and clear at least one of NVEI or LSPD.
In which one would you prefer to consolidate? Would you even consider consolidate all in Shop or there’s a good case for keeping NVEI or LSPD?

Q: I currently have a loss position in NTR and am looking at selling to crystallize. While I may not execute this until after the year end to see if there is a January bounce can you recommend a replacement to buy and hold for 30 days and then rebuy NTR.

Q: I’m selling Appian (APPN) and Fulgent Genetics (FLGT) for a tax loss and am wondering what suitable proxies would be. Or would you recommend just selling, and buying something more promising? (I’m not limited by sector here.) I have more confidence in Appian than in Fulgent. Is that appropriate in your opinion?

Q: It certainly feels as though we are seeing the beginning of a new bond bull after the roughest two years since the 1980s-early 1990s.

Q: I have cash to invest, mostly into ETFs and as a value investor the P/E of the S&P 500 is a stumbling block for me: 23% for IVV vs about 15% for XIU - so about 50% more. XEF has a P/E of 14.31%. The rule of 20 says P/E + inflation should be 20 or less. A hard question, but do I overlook the P/E of the S&P 500 and invest now with a long term hold or do I wait?

Q: KXS is down $30 over the last 3 years and I am trying to understand why. The economy seems to need the solutions the company sells yet shareholder results are lacking. Are they asking to much for the product, are they losing sales, are they paying themselves to much or does the market just not have faith in the company?
