Q: I am considering triming the following stocks ALA, BDT, CVE, EFN, GSY, GWO, IAG, MEG, PEY, TVE, TVK, WCP and X. If I do trim, there will be significant Capital Gains. How would you rank them for total return over the next 2 years? How would you rank them for trimming and if different than above ranking, please advise the reason for the difference ? Thanks

Just ahead of results that doesn't seem very upbeat. Is Cannacord a sell side analyst? Do Kraken have Sell Side analysts and what are their ratings and reasonning if any?

Q: Hello 5i Team,
Pembina Pipeline issued a press release yesterday in which they announced a new tolling agreement/revenue sharing agreement with shippers which would result in revenue reduction of roughly $90 million dollars per year to the company over the next decade. Today, the stock price barely reacted, which I find puzzling. Am I missing something here, or is $90 million per year not that impactful to the company's prospects??
Your thoughts would be appreciated as always.

It seems that my earlier question on NBIS was "swallowed' by cyberspace! So, I am posting it again taking your answers to Claus/Gilles on July 24th into consideration.

It popped up to 57+ and then promptly/very quickly dropped down to 50s. What was all that about? It's earnings are going to be released next week? I see on my iTrade analysts recommendations is a SELL! (Research Team and CFRA) But on other sites it is a BUY! (Interactive Brokers).

What is your take on it's earnings? I know you would say that it is a BUY but for aggressive investors and be mindful of position size! (We get to read your answers between the lines!! You don't like price targets. But let me ask for your price target anyway!!

Worth selling some cash secured puts? Any suggestions for Strike price/Exp date for puts?

Q: GSY has been on a bit of a recovery run lately; is this the stock overcoming past weakness or due to business trends that are favorable for its growth? It has earnings coming up and has done well into them but if they report a higher than expected loss provision then the stock is likely to take a hit after its recent gains.

Any thoughts on what's driving the strength of GSY?

Stock has slowly gained back some of its losses since reporting a horrible Q4 2024 where management spelled out severe impact of freight recession and loss of market share. I have been patiently waiting for a better price to exit. What would you do ahead of Q2 results?

Q: I have 15k in a savings account at my bank, at a very low interest rate. I'm thinking of putting the savings account funds into ZST and get a total return in the 6% range. This would be in a TFSA account. What are your thoughts, maybe ZST.L or another ETF?
