Q: Please comment on the relative pros and cons for each, and rank them for purchase soon. I am grateful for your excellent service!
Q: Hi team 5i, I may be your only member following this stock but I find it a unique and intriguing story. On July 8th they filed for CCAA/Chapter 11 and the stock traded around .80. Since then the stock has traded mostly above $1 and closed after a late run today on high volume at 1.75. I don't see any news today. I believe they will be emerging from CCAA mid-December, perhaps someone knows something?? Do you have any comments on this restructuring or can you turn up any news from your sources that I may not be able to access. From what I see, the loose leaf tea concept is a hot trend right now and these guys are the market leader.
Q: Hi there,
What is the best way to invest in BTC and ETH, without directly investing in the crypto itself? Please suggest US and Canadian funds if possible.
Thanks!

Q: Hello 5i Team
Firm Capital Apartment REIT (FCA.UN / FCA.U) is a small cap Canadian REIT focusing on the US multi-residential market.
1 - How does it compare to the other US focused residential REITs trading on the Canadian Markets? Specifically compared to BSR REIT (HOM.UN / HOM.U), Flagship Communities REIT (MHC.U) and the closed end fund Starlight U.S. Multi-Family (No.1) (SCPO.UN)? Most of these REITs pay their distribution in US dollars and trade in both C$ and US$ on the Canadian Exchanges.
2 – Would Tricon Residential (TCN) be a better choice, even though it is a corporation (versus a REIT) and has a lower yield?
3 – Would it be better to research the US listed residential REITs and select a suitable candidate?
Thankyou

Q: Does the recently announced bought deal financing put a floor under the stock price at about the deal price of $1.40? (Assuming decent management going forward.)
Also, is 5i currently doing or considering doing an analysis of this stock for addition to your Growth Fund?
Thanks.

Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp. (AQN)
Q: I have no utilities exposure. I want to add 1 Company. I was looking at Fortis because I believe they are your favourite given their size and history of dividend increases. They currently are mostly electricity delivery (<90%) with some renewables and fossil fuel. By 2035 they expect to increase renewables from 2% to 7%. That seems like a long time for such a small increase. They are eliminating their fossil fuel generation. If I prefer to invest in a utility with more of a focus on renewables, would AQN or BEP.UN be a better bet. Shouldn't they do better as renewables become 'trendier'? Which do you prefer out of AQN and BEP.UN. BEP.UN has had quite a run recently.
Q: I am curious to hear your thoughts about NNOX?

Q: Hi,
I was going through the investor presentation by the company and noticed that they had been buying back shares. They had bought back 7.1 millions shares as at 30 September 2020.
Do we know if they are still buying back shares after that date and do we have any more information relating to that?
Thanks,

Q: Can you sell a stock in an unregistered account to claim a loss and then purchase it back in the tfsa before 30 days? Thanks Clare
Q: How much of a threat is Zoom video to Sangoma? Is this a potential acquisition target?
Q: Please comment on the quarterly results of CloudMD (DOC). Thanks
Q: What do you think of their latest stock offering, also would you be concerned about the amount of share dilution when you consider the Fengate holds a 40 million convertible debenture?
Q: Could you tell me what is the difference between these 2 companies and what is your opinion for the best one for the Bitcoin space Thanks
Q: Hi Peter,
My rationale for buying Becton Dickinson (joint replacements) still makes sense to me, and I understand that these types of surgeries are down now, but looking forward should surge. That said, it has performed very poorly over recent months and Stryker, which I understand to be a similar company, has done quite well. Can you explain the divergence? Would you suggest I hang onto (or even add to BDX) or should I admit that I picked the wrong stock and would be better switching to SYK. Thank you!

Q: Hi team,
I recently sold a stock at a loss in my TFSA. Can I buy the same stock in my non-registered account now or do I have to wait the 30 days period required by CRA to avoid a penalty ?
Gratefully,
Jacques IDS

Q: I noticed you recently added AC to your portfolio.
Is there a chance that creditors will ask for a restructuring of capital structure?
Or the government if they start pumping money in AC?
Like a bankruptcy form, where shareholders will be left "holding the bag"?
How strong is AC financially at this moment?

Q: I have held on to BB for a few years. What will it take to get this stock to move significantly? Maybe time for a tax loss sale?
