Q: Hi, I'm a retired, dividend-income investor. I took some profits and losses (to wipe out potential capital gains) over the last 5 weeks and am now planning on reinvesting the cash to top up some of my existing equities, up to my desired asset allocation. I want to leg in, in probably 3 waves over the next couple (?) of months, to top up ZWC, AD, AQN, AW, BNS, BCE, LNF, NWC, RY, TRP, WSP.

Can you please indicate which of the above equities you would allocate into which wave (in other words, does it look like the equity is "ready" for an investment OR should I continue to wait for a while)...or not at all (not worth any further investment).

Q: Can you explain the difference and which etf is which? I’m seeing conflicting info. I assume one is CAD hedged? If I think the USD rally has just about ran it’s course which should I buy? Thanks

Q: Could I get your take on REITs at these levels. I thought they would have held up much better in this current meltdown. Are investors just dumping them because they think tenants are going bankrupt and default on their lease agreements? What is your opinion on FCR.UN? or do you prefer HR.UN? Thanks Ron

Q: Which companies do you think might not survive the crisis and it's better dumping now while they still have value? I think you have mentioned the oil producers and what about restaurant stocks? I just listed a few examples here of both.

Q: Hi,

I just received your market update and was a bit caught off guard that you have decided to remove MX from the BP. While I am not surprised, it was somewhat irksome as I had sold it in January and had just purchased it back the other day. My question is, based on my much lower entry point, does a hold make sense at this point?

Q: Are there any companies out there now with an 8% or higher dividend that you would suggest for a long term hold? I say 8, bc it hasn’t been overly hard to find 4-5 before this carnage. I picked up ENB already, and I’m ok if the short/med term div is cut and the price falls further. I’m really looking for stocks that will likely pay a high stable dividend into the future (based on current prices) after things return to normal. No preference on sector.
