Q: Thank you so much for your recommendation on WYNN, GC, BKNG, LUV. They went up a lot.
I still have some cash that I would like to invest.
Are there any stocks that are still undervalued even after recent vaccine news? Or should I just wait for them to dip again? Thanks!

Q: own 200 shares of GC @ $42.95 - what is your long term outlook ( 3-5 years) with the prospective new owners.
I do not need the tax loss benefit but am looking at selling CAE immediately with the latest price jump and buying back later in Dec. with the outlook of a drop in price caused by those who do need the use of the tax loss.
Which one of the major gold companies has the greatest potential to outperform in 2021/22 ( not considering risk )?

Q: If you could see into the future and knew COVID, people's fear of COVID, the economic effects of COVID were all gone ( basically a complete return to normal scenario was 100% for sure in 2021/2022) what basket of Canadian stocks would you purchase now for longer term hold (5-8 years).

Q: Thank you for the update last night. I was not surprised to see the removal of GC due to the COVID shutdowns. I am curious to know what the discuss was surrounding GUD and CAE before providing that update. Are these potentially on the chopping block as well or just require more patience. If you were to consider swapping GUD and CAE for something else what might you recommend in Canada and the US right now (asking about US as portfolio analytics suggests I need more US exposure)?

Thanks as always for the fantastic work you all do!

Q: Thx as always for your amazing service.
You mentioned 4 of the above names in a vaccine / recovery scenario. I already own DOO and GC, and I am looking to add two. Can you please rank them 1) in terms of risk 2) recovery potential from current levels

Thx Brian

Q: I have a 3% position in GC in my TFSA and still am up on it having bought in at $25 per share. I am wondering if I should consider selling and move onto something else and keep this one on the watchlist for conditions to improve (i.e., back to full operating capacity). Also what is expected for the upcoming earnings report and any guess on how the market will react to what will likely be a bad quarter (or is the bad news already priced in). Are there other consumer cyclicals you could recommend as a replacement or prefer better in either Canada or the US?

As always, thanks for the fantastic service!

Q: Greetings 5i team,
I have some cash in two of my accounts and am looking to add to two or more of these companies. In what order would you suggest I might add to these companies? Are there any that you would not add to at this time? For example, CAE and GC have been badly mauled, have not yet recovered, but perhaps I should treat them as a hold?
I realize that these companies vary according to sector, size growth, income and recovery potential making this a challenging question.
Thank you for your work.

Q: Hi,
You have been rightly complemented many times for
or your wise counsel recently. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the members of the group for their many varied questions. Both the questions and answers have helped me a lot.
For various reasons I have not visited the Asset Allocator section for some time and find that I am not as well 'balanced' as I should be. I am over invested in financials (BAM.A, TD, BNS, RY and SLF) and grossly underinvested in Consumer cyclicals. I am also overinvested in Canada. Could you please suggest 2-3 US and Canadian Consumer cyclical stocks?
Many Thanks,
Bryn

Q: Hey 5i team,

Bargains and value pickings seem to be getting slimmer. With a possible recovery or even a lockdown again...with a healthy balance sheet and product or business. Buy and hold longterm horizon.
What are your top recovery picks that you would step into today?

Q: Not sure I understand the following line from your April report on GC: "Where we do find some comfort is with
the close ties (and revenue contributions) to governments as well as Brookfield. GC will have access to support, finances, and might even be a go-private candidate. For this reason, we are maintaining our rating at ‘B+’." Not sure of the relationship to Brookfield, or what it means. And do you mean that government revenue is such a priority that casinos would open up sooner? Not sure what going private would mean in terms of price. Would private equity be looking for a "bargain." Also, not sure where GC's revenue mainly comes from: slots, black jack, hotels, poker tables, etc.? I could see slots returning to action with masked players, but have trouble seeing poker players packed around a table, even with masks. Although, I don't believe much revenue comes from poker tournaments; cash games may be a different story. Sorry about this rather confused question. It's just that if I had to pick a company that would be clearly negatively impacted by a Covid-19 shut down, it would be a brick and mortar gaming company, especially one with hotel and entertainment destination sides. Any clarification much appreciated. Thanks
