Not investment advice or solicitation to buy/sell securities. Do your own due diligence and/or consult an advisor.
Q: Do you think Blink looks interesting at these levels for a long term hold? Anything to do with the EV industry has been beaten up but sales are going to inevitably increase. Are you aware which business currently has a stranglehold on the home EV charging ports?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Recently a question response included something to the effect that "the Berkshire basket of companies are higher quality than the entire market". I couldn't find the exact answer but I have pondered it a lot!
Would BRK.B be "higher quality" than VFV? I currently hold a decent amount of VFV and a tiny bit of BRK.B. It feels like all "the rules/norms" have been discarded for last several years but for next 5 -10 years which would you favor?
Thanks!

Q: Good morning and happy thanksgiving even though it is not ours!
I am looking to invest in healthcare for a registered account(RESP). Could you please provide me with your recommendations.
I would also request two other stocks outside health/finance and energy, perhaps info tech/cons staples for the same account
TIA
Peter

Q: I sold LNTH 30 days ago to harvest the tax loss. I am looking for one more name to fill my healthcare allotment. I currently own ABBV, ISRG, WELL and SIS. Which do you like best between LNTH, DXCM and INMD, which are three names that you have been highlighting over the past several months? I am looking for potentially higher growth and am willing to take on the additional risk. Any other name(s) would certainly be welcome.
Appreciate your insight.

Q: Given the recent softening in the US energy market what are your thoughts on acquiring some producers with attractive dividend yields? For example, DVN or CTRA. Also, what are your thoughts on oil-heavy vs gas-oriented producers? Thanks.
Q: Good morning,
Wanting to sell Medtronic to realize a tax loss benefit, would Stryker be a good proxy to hold in the interim? Is there a better-aligned alternative?
Thank you as always...

Q: I currently hold XHC to give me some global health care exposure. It is ~ a whole position for me and is currently down 4.5%. My other Healthcare stocks are Well and Abbvie.
Do you have some other healthcare names that are solid but growing. With or without dividend.
Outside of Canada to get USA or World exposure.
Or would you stick with XHC?
Thanks.

Q: Which stock do you better going forward for industrial exposure between VRT and ATS. I own WSP, TRI, and TFII already in this sector. Thinking of adding one of the two to either my TFSA or non registered account. Thanks.

Q: Hello 5i,
I am considering to let go of Ford and Magna as I don't see an EV catalyst for Ford and I am not sure about Magna since the Apple car rumour has disappeared !!!!
If I was to sell both, I like to add to one of the other tech companies ( listed above). On an evaluation basis which one is cheaper and that it has the forward momentum to excel in terms of their existing products and AI?
Thanks
Carlo

Q: What is your current view on DEA:US? Is it likely that it's bottomed?
Would AD.un be a superior choice for growth?
Note: I realize this is a "two-fer" sort of question given the differences between the two... Thanx!

Q: I have been investigating a fairly new ETF, namely QQQT from Evolve. It seems to provide good representation of most of the magnificent seven as well as several others. Your thoughts on the management fee (0.25%) and whether you would prefer the hedged or non-hedged product.
Q: Sell, hold, or buy - with a few pertinent comments?
Thanks. ram

Q: Hello 5i advisors, these are the 5 US stocks causing me pain this year; i feel that all are basically good companies with room to run; (DEA, of course a Reit), I know that SHLS has received an inadequate supply and that they are litigating about that, and that they swung to a loss on last earnings; I don't know how large that issue is in terms of their revenues, profits, liability. Please rate these as buys, holds, sells from here and, for the holds, how much patience may be needed and how much upside you see. thanks
