Q: What is your opinion on the insurance providers currently and future outlook? I had owned MFC a couple of years ago for a number of years where the money was essentially dead money the entire time. I was lucky enough to get out with a small profit back then and now I am looking to re-enter this space.

In the past few years with the lower bond yields I think this played a huge part in the performance of these companies but now with the rapid rise in yields will these have a breakout going forward? Is SLF still your favorite? As always thanks, your opinion is always appreciated

Q: These are my holding inside my TFSA. I am 25 years old and would like to know your opinion on this Portfolio and if you think these are good longterm holdings or if they could be replaced with a better investment (please indicate what company you would replace with). Also witch companies would you consider a Buy in 2023 from these holdings for my 6,500$ contribution room.

Q: Hi,
Looking to add a small/mid-cap Cdn insurance company, either pure P&C or a specialty/reinsurer. (already own a lifeco and banks). A 3-4 year hold planned, in my TFSA.
Which do you feel has more promise for growth, and have you been hearing of any potential acquisitions for either?
DFY has no history as a public company, so it's not likely to make it into your Growth portfolio any time soon. TSU is already there.
