Q: Hi Gang,

If you had 40K CAD to invest in an unregistered account for a short 2 yr old.. given the environment in which we are in....Where would you invest? Sector is irrelevant - CAD stock is a must (I can't stomach the hit on conversion) UNLESS there is a CDR you would recommend although I know you prefer the real deal. Can be one or multiple. Goal is to maximize growth while preserving capital. Thank you!

Q: Good morning 5i team,

Recent headline .... "Better Choice Company Shareholders Overwhelmingly Approve Acquisition of SRx Health Solutions and Related Proposals"

Is 5i covering, or planning to cover this Canadian company, SRx?

Thank you.

Q: I own CNQ (largest position), OXY, and CHORD in my trading accounts. I am down quite a bit in CHORD since the Enerplus merger.

I don't really have that much exposure to natural gas stocks at the moment. Would it make sense to sell CHORD, claim a capital loss, and buy something like PEY, TOU, or BIR?

Q: I'm considering taking a position in the sub-prime Canadian lenders. Between Propel and Goeasy, which one would you choose to maximize total returns given the current market price? Is there an advantage in holding both with a (50/50) position? Planned holding period is 3 to 5 years.

Thanks for the great service.

Q: Hello Team,

In one answer you stated NBIS is very high risk and in another you stated that half the market cap is in cash. If half the market cap is in cash doesn’t that make it far less risky? Can you please provide a current valuation, your thoughts on the investment thesis and what price it would be a table pounding buy?

Q: Hi team,

What is the significance of the Morning Star annotations (v.g. *** Silver) when you look at an ETF or stock ? Does it change frequently and for what reason ?

Gratefully,
