Q: Think you may have missed a first dividend fro, Nov 5th news..
" (the "Board of Directors") declared B2Gold's first dividend of $0.01 per common share, and expects to declare future dividends quarterly at the same level, which on an annualized basis would amount to $0.04 per common share".

Q: Want to pass along info from BIP investors relations regarding Unit Split and creation of an Exchange Corporation (BIPC) on how it affects the Brookfield Infrastructure Partners Exchange LP units holder:

1. LP units are exchangeable to BIP.UN 1:1 for 7 years,
2. The exchange is deemed disposition, i.e. taxable, last day to exchange for 2019 tax year is 12/27,
3. LP unit holder will NOT get BIPC shares upon split, only BIP.UN holders get BIPC shares,
4. LP units holder will get equivalent value of additional LP units instead.

Q: In an otherwise balanced portfolio, I hold both Spinmaster and Boyd. I’m thinking of consolidating into Boyd but am wondering if you think Spinmaster is worthy of a bit more patience.

Q: Hi Guys,
As a sad and angry holder of a lot of valueless PGF stock, I read where if you sell your stock for .05 cents you may also get the possibility of a contingent value payment if litigation goes the company’s way. Does that apply to shareholders and what if I don't sell and the deal does or doesn't go through.
Why is Seymour Schulich not saying anything? Rumour is he's getting a better deal than the rest of the shareholders.

Q: Hi again,
Just wondering what you would think of using a few country specific ETFs for emerging markets exposure since China, South Korea, and Taiwan make up over 50% of XEC holdings. Too much risk vs diversity? Or just stick with something like XEC or EMGF for a 10+ year hold in a risk managed growth ETF portfolio. Thanks

Q: If considering buying a stock such as CSU, which is obviously very expensive, if due to portfolio sizing etc, the number of shares you should purchase is say 5-10, is that a sign that you should be investing in ETF rather than shares, due to the commission per share etc, or just consider the underlying $ value of the investment and no worries.

Q: A question about the casino company Game Host. My father's sold his Cineplex position and his looking for another stock with (1) a high yield (2) a monthly dividend. His bonds are not paying enough. With oil back over 60$, do you think that Game Host properties should see better traffic soon? We don't hope for capital appreciation, but want a balance sheet that has more chance to improve than weaken. Thank you!

Q: I own SDY in New York: an ETF that holds companies that buy back their shares. This ETF has done very well. I found the TSX index on companies trading on the TSX that buy back shares - the symbol is TXBB and this index has substantial outperformed the TSX over the past 10 years. But TXBB only lists the 50 companies with the highest buy backs. Where can I find a complete list of all companies trading on the TSX that buy back shares? Also, is there an EFT equivalent to SDY that holds companies trading on the TSX that buy back shares?
