Q: Re: Brian's question about this fund - You quoted a MER of 2.36% where the actual MER is 1.57% (Series X) . Would your answer still be the same.

Q: Everyone,
I see many questions on were will the price of the stock will be in this time frame or that time frame. I buy the best of the best stocks so my process is to look back 3, 5 and 10 years and this will be a good indication on the direction of that stock. It’s the QUALITY and TIME in the market that is very important - not a is it a good time to get into the stock today. Today the sun shines and it will also shine in 5 and 10 years.

Q: Hello Peter,
For the oil and gas sector, what do you think of Arc Resources and Tamarack Valley? Do you think they are too high or considering the oil price and if it continues to tick higher, the stocks will do well. Much appreciated.

Q: Hi,
I have been considering these covered call ETFs for income as a long term hold. I am recently retired. On researching them however on their BMO fact sheets I see a MER of .71% and total expense of .92%. As well in the holdings on the fact sheets I see only about 0.1% of their holdings are classed as covered calls. Seems like a lot to pay in total expenses for only 0.1% of holdings in covered calls. A pure bank ETF or utilities ETF or would be much cheaper. Am I missing something?

Q: I never bought a REIT because I own another investment condo in Toronto. Would you factor that to your entire portfolio or add another REIT unrelated to residential like MPW, AMT or something industrial? If you would add regardless of having another income property, what would you add?
The condo rent has positive cash flow and the equity is about 3 percent of my overall portfolio. Analytics suggests a 4 percent REIT holding.
