Q: Hello,

Could you comment on now that Ontario has partnered with Elon, how does the provincial subsidization of fixed costs for installation of internet, etc. bode for BCE, Telus and other "hardwire" "maybe "fiber optic" providers?

I frequently drive along Hwy 7 and see trees fallen down on the Bell lines - so maintaining this lower margin asset is not a top priority.

How much of a moat is fibre optic vs Starlink?

Elon's satellites have a lot of operating leverage vs copper or fibre optic installation.

Q: Hello
Brookfield Corp stock has been drifting lower after making a high of $85, despite strong results. We started a position just before and after results were announced with an average price of $81.50, for a long term hold.

Do you consider $78 to be a decent level to add some shares or wait for a further pull back ? Not sure if following was a reason for the downward pressure, today.

It was reported by a news website EI confidential that Brookfield intends to offer EUR 7 Billion, to buy Spanish Drug maker Grifols with an offer of EUR 10.50, below the price its trading now.

Q: Investors like me are getting peppered with multiple articles on the web with analysts' recommendations.

I could name the sites but there are 5 or 6 that obviously pay to be at the top of my age and investor profile. Similar to many 5i investors, I am sure.

How can one check if these articles are paid promotions by the listed companies or in fact objective analysis?
