Q: When does Lumine Group report and what are the estimates ? Thanks
Q: I am having trouble deciding between market weighted versus equal-weighted ETF's.
Is it true that equal weighted portfolios often have a higher Sharpe ratio (better risk-adjusted return) but exhibit higher volatility (roughly 10% more) than market-cap weighted ones?

Q: CN Rail stock seems to have benefitted from the HALO theme as well as business prospects turning for better, after lagging the market for almost 18 months. The shares have gone up 15%, within a short span of 4-5 weeks.
Does it make sense to initiate a New position at current levels $150-$152 ( 52 wk high) or wait for some pullback/consolidation ?
Thank You

Q: Good Morning,
Retired income investor with almost 100% of funds in equities. I feel it is time that I added some bond exposure but I am not well informed on this market. Can you please suggest investments that would get me started, cover the basic gamut and provide reasonable returns.
Thanks very much.

What do you know about management and their track record?

Thanks!!

Q: 1. Can you please suggest a list of 10 companies suitable for a Smith Maneuver account? Additionally, please provide 3 to 4 ETF recommendations. For each suggestion, please assign a rating from 1 to 5, where 1 is least preferred and 5 is most recommended. Finally, could you let me know if HDIV is a viable option for this type of account?
2. When optimizing or rebalancing an existing portfolio, do you prioritize the Sharpe ratio or the Sortino ratio while still respecting individual sector and stock limits?
3. When adding a new position, if a company passes all your initial fundamental and technical checks, do you utilize correlation or covariance as a final risk-management check?
Please feel free to use all the credits needed to answer all questions in detail.

Q: 5i provided subscribers with 2 very interesting article recently. One on HALO companies and one of Canadian Companies With Accelerated Topline Growth Rates.
Would you take it one step further for us.
Of the 4 segments of HALO stocks that were highlighted can you pick your top 2 choices from each of the 4 segments and list them from strongest choice down.
Also can you pick the top 5 stocks from the Growth rates list that you think would provide the best growth over the next 5 years from strongest selection down.
With thanks from all of us.

Q: I am starting to read more about the risks for Netflix with respect to their bid for WB. Particularly in light of the improved offer from Paramount this week, and comments from the Trump Administration that suggests they likely will be involved in some way in approving a deal at some point, however that ends up looking.
My question is this - in the event that Netflix loses out (my view is that it is 60-40 they do lose out, either on price or regulatory/DOJ hurdles down the road), do you think there is upside in their stock price near-term? And I have also been reading that if Netflix does not get WB, they may take a run at Disney.
What are your thoughts on this?
Thanks as always.
