Q: Just a general question on an observation I have made over time.

Why is it that somewhat often a stock will go up a bunch and then the next day they announce an offering, take GLXY for example?

Q: I have a position in ERO, but after seeing a recent commentary in the Globe about its “limited upside” compared to Capstone or Hudbay Minerals, I’m thinking of switching from ERO to either CS or HBM, position size the same for my risk tolerance. What do you think of this idea?

Q: I own a variety of dividend ETFs , only utilities ETF and reit ETF are at a loss actually (5-9%), reits ETF being the lowest.
Is it a good time to "add on" in those 2 sectors and if not, what sectors for a revenue objective would be the safest considering the volatile markets and numerous world uncertainties ??

Q: Hi, There has been a lot of talk about Japanese stock market witnessing a strong recovery after almost a lifetime. In your view, what are the factors causing this rebound ?

Many portfolio managers on CNBC and BNN have recommended to have an exposure to Japanese markets. Mr Buffet, for one, as always, started early, taking sizable positions in some well known Trading and Industrial companies. Over past 2-3 years, they have also issued many tranches of Japanese Yen denominated Bonds, with interest rates higher than usually offered by Japanese issuers, once such large issue just announced.

What is your view and if you concur, is EWJ a decent investment vehicle to invest at current levels ?

Thank You

Q: The BE portfolio seems to have around 14% in these three related stocks. Can you please comment on why you are comfortable not seeing these as an overly concentrated bet for a balanced portfolio?

Thanks

Q: Thank you for the great explanation on bitcoin and the upcoming halving a few days ago. I have owned a few bitcoin mining companies for sometime, definitely been going up and down over the years but recently they have gone below 30%. Would I be better off selling the mining companies and putting my money into the bitcoin ETFs?

Q: I've held JNJ for over 15 years based on my belief in the quality of their management. I'm feeling my trust may now be overly 'generous' and it may be time to move on, particularly now that the steadiness of consumer products is gone. I'm considering VRTX or another suggestion you could offer. I have full positions in TMO, SYK and UNH, highlighting my preference for quality.
