Q: Hi 5i, as a long in HCG ~3% of retirement account, been doing some land title searches online and google'ing this morning. My comment count on Seeking Alhpa is now a grand total of one (1). I posted the response below to the comment section. Additionally, some links at the end showing what kind of secretive and nefarious characters William Walker and Robert Wilkins are (this is completely tongue in cheek).

There is an assertion above that one could do a historical search of the database and hypothesis that it would turn up more dirt, but hasn't been done. Anyone can subscribe to teranet for ~$1500 a year and search this database online traveling. I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Additionally, you can pay per search online basically the same rate as doing this in person. Most real estate lawyers, and commercial and residential brokerages already have these subscriptions in one form or another. I just did a bunch of searches to satisfy myself as I'm long HCG ~3% of my retirement portfolio. So if any shareholders or short positions want they can do now, or ask a friend that has access. Also in the comment section someone makes a note about the difference between a sale transaction and a mortgage transaction appearing in this searches. Both mortgages registered on title on a property and purchase and sale transactions are searchable. Also, for more info on Wilkins and Walker, can search by the names they go by day to day, Bob & Bill respectively. Here are some links for those interested:

Q: Temple has had a tough ride this past year,however I understand Morguard is now a significant shareholder. Do you have any view on the prospects for Temple from this approx. 80 cent price level?

Q: Of my two oil companies, WCP and SGY, I am even on WCP and down 35% on SGY, which is less than 2% of my portfolio. As an aside my portfolio is up 15 % YTD I owe most of the gains to 5i You can't get a better testimonial than that

Q: Arizona mining has done very well recently, and a number of analysts have given target prices with some upside. Your views, please?

Q: I've collected a 5% dividend from Genworth for 2 years now. The stock has rallied to 35 recently, which is a nice move relative to HomeCapital (considering it's also in the canadian mortgage insurance business). It is now sitting below a hard level of resistance. I'm considering switching to GoEasy, which yesterday, finally broke above $20/share (was stuck below for a long time). It seems that there is a lot more momentum in GSY right now. Also, Telfser, who's fund performed the best last year, owns it and recommends it. The dividend isn't as good (2.6%) but I'm looking for (some) capital appreciation. Would you be ok with it?

Q: What is your perspective on Agt for a dividend growth portfolio either full or Half position. I had heard they have an investment in Ukraine which has me concerned. Is this significant and which area of Ukraine are they invested if at all.
Ps was there an email that went out on Cxr. I didn't see it so I was wondering if there was another type of notification or did I miss it? Mike

Q: I would appreciate your comments on PLI's announcement this morning that it plans to acquire all of the shares of Telesta Therapeutics. Also is private equity or a large controlling shareholder behind PLI? In thie press release management exudes a lot of confidence about the future and it is hard to assess whether their confidence is misplaced.

Q: I see QHR is trading at $3.12 which is above the buy out offer although at small small amount (2 cents).
Are these buyers hoping for a better offer to emerge?
At what point would it be wise to trade into the market to take advantage of this premium?

Home Capital has responded to the short report (at least it appears they have) and the market appears to like the response. What are your thoughts on the release? Does it go far enough to make you feel "warm and fuzzy," in response to the allegations of the short report?
