Q: Is Goldcorp still worth holding. What is your present opinion on this stock? Thanks.

Q: My question is on VIVO. It's a rebrand from former Abcann Global and apparently your system has not yet updated so I couldn't put it into the box above. Just wondering if you have any further insights in regard to this stock. I recognize that it is just one more entry in a large field of cannabis "wannabees". They suggest on their website that they have some proprietary technology in regard to cannabis production that might give them an advantage but I'm not sure how much credence to put in this claim. Generally, please give your opinion on VIVO currently in regard to valuation, management and forward guidance, to the extent that you are able. Also, do they have any free cash flow at the moment and what is their debt level like. Thanks.

Q: I have been seeing more questions on TH recently and see no reason not to begin a modest position but I wanted to compare it to two companies you have endorsed and which I own. Do you see more or less upside in TH vs RHT and COV? Could you rank these three according to growth potential and risk? To clarify, please rank 123 based on which have the most upside and 123 based on which are risky from least to most. Deduct credits as you see fit.

Q: ESRX:Q is going to be acquired by CI:N by Dec 2018 and holder of ESRX will receive $48.75 in cash and 0.243 shares of CI. In my case I will be receiving less than 25 shares. Hence I like to sell ESRX:Q before conversion and want to invest in some other US health stock. Should I keep odd number of CI:N or you have some better alternative in US health sector? I own ESRX:Q and BAX:N in Healthcare sector.

Q: Good morning
Over the next few months I would like to invest in a long-term portfolio [10 years] of 10 Canadian and 10 USD stocks/ ETFs/ Funds based on Growth at a Reasonable Price [not interest]. I have reviewed your answers about stocks characterized as "forever" well-diversified", "top growth pick", "5 year top growth", "top US most growth" "most long-term potential" - maybe that is closest.
From these answers I tried to cull the list, but would like your confirmation.
Financials: I am leaning to TD vs BNS - Long-term results, mgt, US; BAM, VISA, and have added SYF [both Buffet and Seth Klarman own]
Industrials: CNR, ITA ETF, CCL and maybe BBU [but currently overvalued];
Consumer Defensive: PBH;
Consumer Cyclical: AMZN, TD Enternment & Communications, TSGI, MG [wait];
Technology: CSU, KXS, ARKW ETF, MSFT, SNPS?, GIB-A
Health: COV, ISRG,
Global: IJR or Mawer Global Sm-Cap
CYB or Edgepoint Global Portfolio

I have no doubt missed a few or priorities have changed.

Q: I have been holding WCP (-35%) (4% of Corp Port. and 2% of total holdings) and SGY (-40%) (6% of Corp Port. and 3% of total holdings) since 2015.
These are in an unregistered corporate account so a capital loss can be carried forward. I am going to either sell both holdings outright and purchase VET.
Or trim each of WCP and SGY by half and use the proceeds to purchase a smaller position in VET and end up with all three holdings.
The negatives I see with the first option would be increased concentration risk (2 holdings for 1) and I would expect that WCP and SGY would outperform VET if the price of oil continues to increase long term. Your thoughts please?

Q: Good afternoon,
With the spin out of Equinox's copper assets "Solaris Copper Inc. I received a letter from my brokerage firm informing me the shares of Solaris have been deemed to be a non-qualified investment for registered plans under the income tax act. Without getting into the penalties that may be incurred, can I forget the letter since my shares are in my TFSA.
