Q: My BPO.UN shares are in a non registered account. If I sell now I will have capital gains. I was told that if I wait for the rollover into BAM and/or BPY Preferreds the rollover is tax free, Can you please comment on this.

Considering an investment in NTR, BUT........when I look at a long term chart (20 years), I see a company that has, over the years, had a declining share price. Or, as you like to term it, not created shareholder value in the long term. Can you address this problem and why you think "things are different now". Can you add what you see as the "best of breed" in either the agriculture or materials space?

Q: Does Nuvei had 2 classes of shares? The symbol for the share in my account is NUVCF:PNK rather than NVEI.UN
Also there do not same to have the same daily volume and the closing price is always different. My brokers tell me it is the same

Can you compare and contrast AT vs WISH? I realize WISH would be considered much riskier due to market cap and and even length of time being a public company.

But I am interested to know if one has a competitive advantage over the other, are expected growth rates for next several years are substantially different between the two.

Would it be too much overlap to have small positions in both companies?

Caribbean Utilities (CUC) was listed in the blog article as companies paying a US$ denominated dividend.

1 – Since Caribbean Utilities is a Cayman Island domiciled company, is it correct that the dividends would NOT be eligible Canadian dividends and therefore NOT eligible for the dividend tax credit (i.e. would be treated similar as US domiciled companies and dividends treated as ordinary income).

2 – According to the CUC website, there is no withholding tax on the dividends, therefore would CUC be best held in a RRSP in conjunction with other US utility companies?

3- CUC is owned approximately 58.5 % by Fortis, why does this ownership percentage not appear on the company information page of the 5i Research?

4 – How does CUC compare / rank with other similar US listed utilities (same market size cap and/or electrical distribution market focused)?
