Q: Gud seems to be drifting lower each day. Have you changed views on this name. I'm wondering if it might be a value trap.

Q: GUD. GUD is pretty cheap. Good time to increase the number of shares ?
Q: There is a good article in the Financial post on Johnathon Ross Goodman who runs GUD. If you could link it to this note it would give the readers a better understanding of what GUD does and where it sees itself going.

Q: Hi team,
I wanted to get your opinion on the start of my son's RESP.
BYD 30%, GUD 40%, PHO 15%, CRH 15%
I recently added CRH on what I viewed as a value play, however I'm not sure about this move. Would you swap CRH out, and if so for what? Any suggestions or tips are appreciated.
Keep up the good work. Cheers

Q: I know you are not allowed to own any stocks, but if you could own one stock, what would it be.
Q: This is in response to johns question today about the downward trend of savaria and photon. I would also lump GUD in with these. It has seemed like a 5i favourite for a while but is basically at the same leve it was last November.
You told John that 3-4 months isn't long enough for these names, how long would you recommend as a minimum (I am ok with years of needed)?
Is there anything in their news to make you very confident that the momentum will change directions?
And, do you feel comfortable adding to these 3 at tofays levels (or is it likely just holding on for a few % over the next year and they've already used up their momentum?) (I know this is kind of asking you to crystal ball, but I'm hoping for educated insight).
Thanks!

Q: Hi 5i,
My portfolio has: AD, POW, REI,SRU, PPL, ATD, MG, BCE, EMA and GUD.
In your opinion do I have exposure to all sectors with quality stocks? Which ones would you suggest to add or get rid of?
Thank you!

Q: If sector was not an issue, which would you choose to put money to work, GUD or PHO?
Q: Hi Peter and team, I have some PLI and I am interested in other Canadian companies that are in late stage drug development. Are you able to suggest a few companies that have some potential? I realize this is a risky area. Thanks.
Q: I have a question about GUD. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO BE PATIENT ON THIS NAME.iT SEEMS ALMOST TOO LONG .aNY SENSE OF HOW ONE CAN KEEP A PROPER PERSPECTIVE...WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO DO SOMETHING?

iShares U.S. Medical Devices ETF (IHI)
Q: I have an average price on BMY shares of $69 having bought near peak price...when the recommendations by other analysts ( not 5i) were extremely positive. After, the company missed expectations with a drug and the downfall began. Now, I am wondering, what factors would you consider in making the decision whether to exit this losing trade and put the $$ into an alternate pharm company such as GUD or an ETF such as some you have recently mentioned IHI.
Q: I am retired and able to live comfortably on
my Federal government superannuation, OAS and CPP.
Can you recommend a single stock for a TFSA, in which I currently hold a full position in ENF and a double position in AYA purchased when originally recommended by 5i?
Thank you for considering my question.

Shopify Inc. Class A Subordinate Voting Shares (SHOP)
Q: I am starting an RESP fund for my new son (initial investment maxed at $5000). I would like to begin with a somewhat aggressive growth-seeking small portfolio, and to then gradually add one or two stocks each year for diversification up to about 8 or 10 stocks in total. For my opening purchase, I am considering three stocks -- Kinaxis (KXS), Constellation (CSU), and Knight Therapeutics (GUD). Two questions: This seems to be a decent time to buy these particular stocks, would you agree? And would you replace any these stocks with any others? (I'm open to anything growthy, but have been considering Shopify (SHOP), Photon Control (PHO), Enghouse (ENGH).) Thanks, and great job.
PS: Should I wait to buy until a few days after the BoC rate decision, or has the market reaction more or less already played out?

Q: GUD. GUD pretty low today: 9.99$. Is this normal ? CSU also rather low. Is all this fine ?
Q: These 3 companies represent 5% of my portfolia. I was thinking of adding more BEAT. Can you give me your thoughts on BEAT? I could not find any reference to it under member questions.
Q: GUD. GUD a bit unstable today. Everything still fine ?
Q: I own equal amounts of both of these shares (1% of my portfolio).
BDSI is performing well and owns a non-opiod painkiller (BELBUCA) that just received approval from Health Canada. They need a contact in Canada to sell/distribute it. Is this the sort of thing that Knight would facilitate?
Palladin used to sell BDSI products but recently returned that portfolio to BDSI to focus on other areas. BDSI now sells directly in US.
