Q: It appears from the fiscal Q2 results that Avante Logixx has turned the corner to future profitability. The Company's stock trades very cheaply at about 60% of revenues based on their forward outlook of C$72 Million. Do you agree?

Q: Yesterday they announced the end of the relationship with Medison . However they ignored the deal with Onconova ONTX.
ONTX had a press release but GUD ignored it.
On Sedar the Medison news is posted but not ONTX. Any insight as to why ? Too small a deal perhaps ?
Thanks

Q: Hi !
I am looking for a way to eventually get out of TSGY with minimal loss. In my present situation, I see no advantage to increase the capital losses in my portfolio. I am holding 270 shares of TSGI bought at $45.93 which gives me a 32% loss presently.
Buying more shares of TSGI now, let us say 130, would allow me to reduce my loss if I can sell at a higher price later.
What do you think of such a scenario and on the potential of appreciation of TSGI in the future ?
Gratefully,
Jacques, IDS

Q: Peter and staff; I have held this stock for a short period of time and it has not produced the results I was looking for. Can you share an opinion and possibly a suggestion going forward?
Q: Hello!
TransGlobe Energy for me is down 40% for me since buying it earlier this year. While I do have a time frame of at least several years, I am wondering about the opportunity cost in the shorter term, especially given the sector and specifically TGL's operations being primarily in Egypt. It is in a TFSA, so tax loss isn't part of the conversation. It is not a big position, and is less than 2% of portfolio.
I'd appreciate hearing your thoughts on its short- to medium-term prospects.
Marc.

Q: Interested in your take on Booking Holdings. It feels like every quarter problems in Europe impair success and I worry that it's vulnerable to disruption by AirBnB. Expedia and Trip Advisor don't seem to be doing well. Is Booking likely to outperform the NASDAQ index going forward?
Q: Do you view EnWave as a good buying opportunity today? Also, how do you view the company in the long term? Similarly, your views on Appian and Fastly would be appreciated.
Q: Every once in a while, I see a question asked about this company, and your response always says that being small they have small cap risk. While that is true, I have never seen another company that has been so consistently stable between 1.90 and 2.00. Rarely strays away from the $2.00 mark. For 5 years now. So, as a monthly dividend payer, at 8%, this is one of my go to stocks when there is market uncertainty. No growth but consistent dividend.

Q: Hello 5i,
I sold NFI, PSI and CCL.A as tax losses on October 25. Should I buy them back now, just add to the positions I now have or are there other equity opportunities to consider in replacement. I am a retire, value, dividend investor, 60/40, evenly distributed with many from the INCOME MODEL PORTFOLIO.

Q: What is 5i's opinion on AirIQ's Q2 results. Cash is growing nicely.
Q: More and more analyst seems to believe we’ll have a not so bad start of 2020 finally. Industrial signals have been weak, but it appears to have a good chance for a come back. What do you think of a 5% position in vaw, because material (chemicals among others) have been underperforming as a way to play a recovery of the general industrial sector. Rest of the portfolio is well balanced.

Q: In my TFSA I have had a nice run with SQ and was thinking of selling it out and "starting over" with a couple or three of the above listed stocks that you have recently identified as having high potential ( with the same? amount of risk that came with buying SQ a couple of years back) What do you see as the pros and cons of such a move and if implemented which 2 or 3 would you chooses at this time?
Thanks,
Terry

Q: Hi 5i, your opinion please on the latest quarterly report from Nexus REIT.
Also, the stock trades between $2-$2.10 and has a NAV around $2.30. How does that compare to other REIT's. Do most REIT,'s trade below or above NAV and if so, why? Thanks Rob

Q: Hello,
I was wondering what you thought of Microsoft for a purchase?
I know you like Google and Amazon but I just have a hard time purchasing something so expensive + the exchange.
Your comments would be appreciated.
Thank you
