Q: Hello 5i,
New to portfolio analytics, can’t say enough about this team! Bravo.

Circumstances forced me to shuffle financially this past year.
43, pension, rentals. 55 freedom or forget it.

Highest conviction, growth, maj; tech, leaning themes to the next decade, a sprinkle of sector diversity, large/mid/small caps, predominantly US. I’m aware of course of all the caveats here lol. A 12-15 starter pack would be fabulous.

This is you starting today; You have 300k.
I do add 700 per week, please exclude
BN, TRI, ISRG, COST, HIMS, NBIS, NVDA, BKSY.

Eagerly waiting! Thank you.

Q: Hi Peter, I thought I finally had a winner with CSU. I have 7 shares and it was nice when they were close to 5000.00, thinking they might go higher. It's always hard to sell the winners. Even though I still have a bit of a gain is it time to forget about this high price for CSU. I know you can't predict the future but how low could this go, it's not going to be another Nortel, or drop down to 500 or 700 is it? Would it be a good time to add or sell. Can you give us some encouragement or some guidance with this. Much appreciated.

Q: Hi 5i, here goes another CSU family Q.

Yesterday you mentioned a 10% drop would not surprise you. Well it's here. Based on your ability to use Bloomberg and other valuation tools, where do see the next floors down in the elevator so to speak. And based on these two events in the past week, how long will the family be in the dog house? Also I'm asking this on the assumption you are still fans. Thx.

Q: I am up on all the above listed stocks however down on AC, LMN, BCE, WELL, LLY, my question is should i sell some losers as well as some winners to shore up CSU (presently own 9 shares in my TSFA. Do you sees this as once in a lifetime opportunity to load up on arguably the best managed company in Canada i am leaning towards selling WMT and FFH in the winners column (both consist of 8% each of my portfolio what losers would you sell if wanted more exposure to CSU....your thought on this strategy please ps am 74 yrs old and a conserved investor

Q: 1. Could you please provide the link to the blog you recently wrote about CSU.
2. Looking at historical data, CSU was trading at a lower P/E a few years back and more recently hit 120 - double the historical standard of a few years back (prior to 2021). In fact, back in late 2021 the P/E of CSU hit approximately 120, only to return to its historical standard (before starting this new leg up). Is it possible that the stock is resetting itself? A P/E of 120 is fairly high for most companies and it still trades in mid 80s even after this recent drop. Thoughts? Does CSU deserve a P/E of about 120? I am trying to decide if I should add to this stock OR wait a little longer. Thanks.

Q: What are your thoughts on how overvalued AI stocks are and what factors we should be concerned about that could cause the bubble to burst?

What are some good ideas for relatively safe stocks and etfs to hedge against a AI and tech weighted portfolio?

Q: hi. after just reading your latest report on CSU, I am still not sure that I understand their "roll-up" business model vis a vis earnings growth? are they buying up these little niche software companies, and then increasing the prices that their customers have to pay, with no real value add to the customer otherwise? can you describe their model to me ( or us? ) like I was a 5 year old ( to quote Michael Scott from the Office ).
cheers, Chris

Q: After reviewing past questions on ENGH and CSU (specifically June 19). When you preferred the CSU group of companies over ENGH.
Would give the same recommendation after today’s news regarding Mark Leonard?
Would selling my holdings in ENGH to buy CSU be a good move from your perspective. I appreciate your input.
Thank you, Mike

Q: With the 3 stocks going down the last few months, could it be that they went down not because of AI concerns but instead there was a leak that the CEO was ill and would be stepping down?
Thanks

Q: We sincerely wish for a speedy recovery for Mark Leonard. Mark brought immense wealth to millions of retail investors, through his wisdom and unparallel business acumen, over past 20 years.

What could be the likely impact of Mark Leonard's resignation on Lumine and Topicus companies and their shares ? Do you believe that the two spinco's are also at the risk of losing their premium valuations, like we are witnessing with CSU shares ?

Or, since they are a little insulated with this development being independent units, with their own CEO's ?

What would you do with the two holdings?

Thank You

Thank You
