Q: I am planning to deploy the $7000 in the TFSA sometime next week. The TFSA is growth focused and for a long term hold (5-10+ years).

These are the 3 names I am thinking of adding to:
CSU - today's price is $4400 ish
BN - today's price is $82 - $83 ish.
NVDA - today's price is $144 USD ish.

Due to CSU's high price tag, I can only add to 2 of the 3 names. Which 2 names would you add to, at today's prices?

Q: These are 3 Canadian stalwarts in my kids' RESP. Expected 1st year of withdrawal is 2035.
CSU - today's price is $4481 ish
ATD - today's price is $79 ish
BN - today's price is $82 ish

Q: I am only interested in holding Canadian Long Term Compounders. I am looking for companies with decent ROIC, ROE and good balance sheets and preferably owner/operators with skin in the game. In the Canadian space of my portfolio I hold CSU, ATD and TFII. My question is could you provide to me 10 small and mid cap Canadian names that you would feel would make the best long term compounders to hold for at least 5-10 years.

Q: I have these companies in equal amounts in my TFSA.With an additional $18k to invest,which ones would you add to at this time or would you prefer others. I am 74 and plan to live to be 100,which is my mother’s age! I hope to eventually shoot my age(golf).

Q: Happy New Year Everyone. Thanks so much for your much appreciated service. I have $10,000 to deploy in an RESP account for three grandchildren with a 10-15 yr time horizon. What are three new stock ideas along with suggestions on what current stocks I could add to assuming they are equal weightings. Just reviewing your balance portfolio and I noticed that your highest conviction stocks are csu, dsg, shop and wsp, all around 6%. Can I assume that you would recommend these stocks for 2025 at this percentage of a balance portfolio?
