Q: Ignoring sector considerations, which of the following would you look to take a position in today in a RESP with a 6 year time frame and an objective of achieving the greatest total return: BEP.UN, CSH.UN, BCI, ECI, DOL?

Q: Amongst other names I hold the above noted names and am wondering if you think I should exit any of the names listed or hold on as all have done relatively poorly? Thanks, Ian

Q: Howdy! The Kiki Delaney chapter in "Market Masters" has inspired me to invest more in Quebec-based equities. I already have BCE, CAE, CNR & GUD. Please rank the top 3 in this list (or other Quebec-based equities that I didn't list) to add right now purely on long-term (3-5 yrs) appreciation (value + dividends).
Thank you,
David L

Q: What do you make of the most recent earnings announcement and why is the liquidity so thin? I would have thought that after several years of growth and profitability the institutional market would have been interested in picking up some ownership from the tightly owned group. My other question is why would Bennett who appears to own over 63% of the company list it if he is not willing to distribute stock to others, isn't that a very costly venture to list a company public for no other reason that to see its name listed (sarcasm here!)

Q: I am trying to decide between BCI and XTC for my TFSA. From my analysis BCI has better metrics (FCF/Capital Invested, P/FCF FCF/Sales,margins) but what worries me is the intrinsic value. Using Graham number Earnings Power Value and DCF analysis I get a stock price in the $10 range for BCI, where as for XTC it appears to trade close to or below intrinsic value. Which would you go for? Should I be worried about the intrinsic value?

Q: My wife recently purchased a pair of glasses on-line. I was skeptical but the process was very easy, the fit turned out to be much better than her last pair that was purchased at a store and the price was a small fraction of the cost of a store bought pair. My concern about BCI is how are they going to counter this trend with some very aggressive players moving into the on-line glasses business? Would this be a concern going forward?

From the growth stocks listed above what would be your top 5 for expected stock performance over the next 3 - 5 years.

Feel free to take as many question credits as you feel necessary.
