Q: Regarding your recent portfolio changes:

- what is the best metric for determining whether or not Tantalus Systems is good value at current levels ?

- I was surprised by the AI disruption note in your commentary for CGI. I thought they were to benefit from AI. Maybe I misunderstood (?)

- By trimming NTR and adding L in the balanced portfolio, are you suggesting there is more upside with L ?

Q: I have benefitted from your service and am happy I discovered it. It has enabled me to buy stocks you have a high conviction in while there is still significant upside.

The additional area that I think would benefit subscribers is to advise when you are cooling on previously recommended stocks.

In some instances, I have held recommended stocks well past their best before date, resulting in losses where there were previously gains.

Some old flavour of the day stocks that come to mind are ecn, goos, toy.

I know you actively manage the model portfolios, and that it's ultimately my responsibility to manage my own portfolio, but I know it would help me (and perhaps others), to understand in a more timely manner when a high conviction stock not in the model portfolio moves from a Strong Buy to a Hold or Sell.

I'm identifying a need, but don't know how this would work. Thanks for considering.

Q: An advisor at RBC recently recommended a new ETF offered by RBC as a good for income investment . The brochure says : RBC Target Maturity Bond ETFs (RBC TMB ETFs) are an innovative suite of fixed income investment solutions designed to meet the evolving needs of today’s investors. RBC TMB ETFs combine the defined maturity and regular income characteristics of individual bonds with the transparency, diversification, and tradability of an exchange traded fund.
Would you consider this a good alternative to holding a GIC?

Q: What do you think of IREN? Would you buy it?

Q: It looks like Gold has broken out of $3500 level and Gold equities, rising for 3-4 weeks straight, might be due for a consolidation soon. Do you agree ?

We have a small 1% weight in the sector through AEM and wish to increase our exposure. Have we already missed the boat ?

Would it be worthwhile to wait for a consolidation and or just start adding at current levels.

If you believe, there could be consolidation due in the near term, what levels, you think, AEM could trade ?

Q: do you consider this a good investment for Gold?

Q: PPI , Producer Price Index in the US, reported this morning (September 10) , show a surprising drop of 0.1% vs. an expected increase of 0.03%. It’s unclear where tariffs, which is essentially a consumption tax, is being absorbed. Logically it should show up in consumer prices before long. It’s either that, or margins at retail companies will adjust down. Over the next year , how will this affect the share prices of Costco and Walmart? In your opinion are such retailers likely to drift down, or trade sideways at best, for the next year or so? Or do you believe things are too uncertain to make portfolio changes based just on tariff impacts?

Q: I understand there is a new release of the popular game "Call of Duty".
I was assisting grandsons move onto a uni campus 2 weeks back and almost every student had a version of this game and a high-priced unit to play it on.
I now see the stock trading just under $170 US.
What can you tell me about EA as a possible investment ? Thanks david

Q: Based on it's recent performance is this company a recommended hold or sell?

Q: In a CCPC, investment income is taxed at a rate of 50% or more , with a partial refund via the RDTOH mechanism. It is my understanding that Corporate class etfs attempt to recategorize income in the form of capital gains, thus not triggering any income until the item is sold. Is this your understanding?

What is your view of these products? What drawbacks do you see? Are there any hidden fees?

Q: In researching the Swedish company EQT, a global powerhouse in finance (listed as EQT on the Stockholm exchange ) I found that EQT.st is the largest holding in PSP, the US-listed ETF that holds alternative asset managers and private equity companies. Many of the businesses held by PSP look attractive, including for example: KKR, OWL, APO, CG and BX. Do you think PSP the ETF is an attractive buy currently over EQT.st? I much prefer EQT.st but I ask you whether you would rather hold one or more of the individual constituents of PSP? If the latter, which companies, if any, do you think have good financial prospects and are at reasonably good prices to buy now?

Q: Yesterday you answered a question regarding three companies you would buy for growth for five years, asked by Judith. You gave the first three and left out your favourite company of all time, CSU. I imagine that is because we are focusing on growth and CSU, being bigger than the others will likely grow less. I tend to be a little leery of lmn and don’t have a high percentage. But, where would it fit, and what would your choices be, if the question was asked in such a way that growth was important but also relative safety? Safety, not in the sense of say, the banks, but something with good prospects for above average growth?

What were your thoughts on Adobe earnings and conference call yesterday, if you had a chance to hear it. Do you think the the quarter was one where there is a more positive view on Adobe's place in the Ai world going forward? Would you be a buyer at these levels?
